DO AWAY WITH PRIDE

Psalm 8:2

Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.


One of the biggest challenges of man is pride. The very thing the bible teaches us brought Satan down.


We are called of God to humble ourselves to Him, in that we defeat all our enemies and enjoy His glory.


Many who claimed to be called of God allow themselves to become so self conscious that they attempt to take God's place. "beware"


Psalm 8:4

What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?


When we say we must grow as believers, our maturity is not the growth of pride but in faith and in the knowledge of God. However in wrath we must remain babes.


Not man of God, but children of God! Selah


Matthew 18:3-4

And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.


This is why when we come to the Heavenly Father through His Son, the Messiah, we surrender all pride


Philippians 3:7-8

But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

Yea doubtless, and I count all things [but] loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them [but] dung, that I may win Christ,


For all that we have or know outside of Christ are not eternal, but in Christ our eternal is taken care of.


For God made man a little lower than angels (elohim), and gave him dominion here on earth. We must not err by seeking to dominate other men or seat in God's place.


Yes when we are born again we take our place by Christ in heavenly places. Remember not for you alone but all who believe.


Who is to be glorified? The Heavenly Father.


Psalm 8:9

O LORD our Lord, how excellent [is] thy name in all the earth!


Some have also foolishly taken pride as a symbol to do abominable things that are not convenient, the Bible says God has left them to their own self destruction. Do not join them but seek their deliverance. Selah


Romans 1:28

Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. 


May we never be carried away with any form of Pride, instead the joy of the Lord will be our strength as we humbly submit to Him.


Glory to God forevermore.

CHRIST'S RULE

Isaiah 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. The prophecy on Judah's predicament did not end there, there was the prophecy of the return of the remnant. The end of the days will see a new wave of peace and joyous happiness. It will be characterized with the initial plan of God being fulfilled. Wildness in animals removed, wars will not need to be fought, snakes would no longer be poisonous. Peace would reign.
