GOD COMFORTS US

2 Corinthians 1:4

Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

This is why God allows us to go through these troubles, we experience His comfort, then in turn we are able to comfort others.

For Paul described two attributes of God's nature:

2 Corinthians 1:3

Blessed [be] God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

*Father of mercies

*God of all comfort

All glory to His name.

Furthermore Paul prayed:

Philippians 4:7

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

So no matter what we experience, we must understand that God's intention for us is always for good. We must know by His Spirit what to reject and what to accept.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

In all we are more than conquerors, for it will always work for our good.

Thus instead of holding on to that difficulty or trouble we hold on to Him.

Philippians 4:6

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

What did Jesus say as the time for His physical departure from the earth came close:

John 14:27 NLT

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

We really need God's comfort and peace, we cannot control what people or the enemies do, but we can control what we allow. I choose God's comfort and peace and no one can take it away from me. Glory.

Dear Father, you have never failed, neither will you begin to fail in me. I thank you for your grace, mercy, peace and comfort. I reach out to you day after day. Blessed be your name Lord forevermore. Halleluyah

We are blessed.

Love
