BE GOOD, IT IS WORTH IT.

1 Corinthians 15:58

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.


It is not strange to get tired of doing good. We understand that the world we live in cannot be described as good because of the system operating in it. We therefore need to look beyond it to see the reason for continuing in good works.


1 Corinthians 15:19

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.


Most who walk in wickedness or unrighteousness either do not believe in the life after or have chosen to ignore or blur it out of their minds. Therefore, when they think that it ends here, it is almost as if they say "there is no God".


1 Timothy 4:2

Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;


However, we know that it goes beyond here, our spirit bears us witness that this world is not all there is, we will yet live after here and what we do here is a function of what that place will be for us.


2 Corinthians 5:10

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to that he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad.


Furthermore, we should also understand that even in this short time we have to spend on earth, the fruit of our deeds are also expressed. For Christ said:


Mark 10:30

But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.


One key thing for all wise people is not to get easily carried away with that moment of urge. For the aftermath could take longer periods to clear, yet many never really go away. So your restraint, self control and discipline is not foolishness but actually great wisdom for all great things achieved came from mastering this character.


So brethren, we should take the little opportunities we have to do good for that is the nature of our Heavenly Father and that should be our nature too. Matthew 25:35-40, Mathew 5:16


Romans 2:10&11

But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

For there is no respect of persons with God.


Oh help us Good Lord. We will show our Father's nature. We will do good. All we do will bring glory to God. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

CHRIST'S RULE

Isaiah 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. The prophecy on Judah's predicament did not end there, there was the prophecy of the return of the remnant. The end of the days will see a new wave of peace and joyous happiness.
