HOW CAN I FORGET GOD?

Psalms 63:6&7

When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.

Because You have been my help, Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.

Each new day, week, month, year or season brings its own atmosphere. It could be for a rejoicing, a challenge or at first it could seem uncertain. The Psalm this morning talks of being so conscious of God's presence that it overshadows all.

DO YOU REMEMBER HIM?

Some would ask, how can I forget God?

Well when your denomination, your pope, bishops, general overseers, priests, pastors, prophets, job, business, friends, entertainment, fears, worries etc have taken the place of God in your life, listen brethren, you have forgotten God!

This is what He said:

Isaiah 42:8

“I am the Lord; that is my name! I will not give my glory to anyone else, nor share my praise with carved idols.

Never forget

Who He is

What He has done

What He can do

What He will do

For He remains the God Almighty. Instead of filling up ourselves with the burden, or worshipping other things or people, we fill ourselves with Him, then the burden is lifted from us.

Who or what has taken the place of God in your life?

Remember what He said:

Jeremiah 32:27

"Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?"

The burden cannot be bigger than this world, yet He has taken care of more than this world. Selah

Do not let anyone or things take God's place in your life. Remember when He said we should come He was speaking to us as individuals

Matthew 11:28 NLT

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

We come to Him as an individual but we fellowship as brethren and live as family. Selah

Oh how we praise you Heavenly Father, you are a great Lord. We fill ourselves with you, all burdens are lifted, no one or thing will take your place. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

We are victorious.

Love
