WHEN WILL THE WISE RULE?

Proverbs 29:8(NLT)

Mockers can get a whole town agitated, but the wise will calm anger.


Proverbs 29:8

Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise [men] turn away wrath.


When will siege end, when will we have the wise rule that we may have peace and prosperity?


It is terrible to have the scornful as rulers in any territory.

They prefer to have chaos and are never at rest until they have discord. They do not know how to speak, they speak deceit and lies and never take responsibility.

They prefer to blame others for their short falls.

They are short sighted only seeking for the gains of today, they hold nothing for the coming generation. They are always indebted.

Most times their long term agenda is selfish or from the evil one and brings destruction.


However, the wise are more interested in having peace.

They are interested in the prosperity and joy of the people.

They are visionaries, they see for the next decade and plan for the next generation.


We pray for these kinds of leaders in our immediate environments, communities and nation.


We also in our own small sphere of leadership should be wise leaders. This is why we have God's Spirit in us.


Proverbs 29:2

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.


We will yet rejoice in our community and in our nation.


Isaiah 14:5

The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, [and] the sceptre of the rulers.


Remember at the end of the age, Christ would establish His throne over all. Oh what a glorious time. That is the time when all will be made perfect.


However, at the present times, we must pray and work towards having the wise rule. As someone says, a nation produces it's kind as leader. Selah.


So wake up, be part of the change, from your household to the larger community to promote God revealed in Christ Jesus, integrity, truth, shun tribalism, racism, hypocrisy, lust after wealth and other vain things. We have to make it happen for us and the next generation. So help us Good Lord.

GOOD LIKE YOUR FATHER

Genesis 1:31 Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good! And evening passed and morning came, marking the sixth day. There is one thing we must have in mind, "it is the desire of our Heavenly Father that we should be like Him". He is good and He expects us to be good, we follow in His good nature. One of the attributes of the Heavenly Father's goodness is in the perfection of His work. What can be said of your works? Listen, the Psalmist sang: Psalms 118:23 This is the Lord’s doing, and it is wonderful to see. Look at those who walked with the Heavenly Father in scriptures, their works were wonderful to behold, is it when they worked in spiritual positions, Joseph and Daniel in interpretation of dreams and giving wise counsel; or the prophets when they delivered God's message or did miracles. Their works were commendable when they were in political positions, Joseph and Daniel are still very good examples, no blemish was found in their work...

NEVER TAKE REVENGE!

Romans 12:19 Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, “I will take revenge;I will pay them back,” says the lord. Offences would surely come as we continue our journey here on earth. One thing we must learn to do is never to act when we are angry. Almost one hundred percent of the time, if we reflect on it, we find that we regret our actions. It is not that we do not get angry, the bible teaches that even when we do, it should not lead us to sin. Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: If an enemy hurts us, well what do we expect from an enemy. However betrayal is when a friend intentionally hurts us.
