BECAUSE OF CHRIST

Ephesians 1:10

That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; [even] in him


Our reason should be: "because of Christ".


We should always have it in mind that all things will end, and when it does we go to a better place without all the troubles and pains we face now.


When we join other believers to worship, pray and study God's word, let us remember the reason we gather. The originator of our union. Christ Jesus. He promised that He prepares a place for us, that we might be with Him forever. Oh what great joy.


John 14:3

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.


So many things could take our mind from this one purpose: jealousy, convetousness, pride, selfishness, lust, relevance, mammon etc.


Whatever it is that would want to take away His dominance must be resisted, it must be all about Him. Thus even as we overlook the shortcomings of man, we never condone sin, filth or laziness, but encourage God's love, faithfulness and accountability.


As we worship let it be about Him, let it be love He showed to us.


1Timothy 3:15

But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.


Remember that all things will still come under Christ.


We therefore put our trust in Him. He is the one that will keep us to the end.


Jude 1:24-25

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present [you] faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

To the only wise God our Saviour, [be] glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.


As you go on to work this week, remember you are from a family born in heaven and work and think like a child of God. You cannot be lazy, myopic, or a pretender. It doesn't end in the gathering it continues in our everyday life, that is where we shine His light.


In your business, your light shines. No matter what you do let it be all about Christ for all things were made by Him and for Him. Glory to God forevermore.


You will succeed this week because of Christ.

Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. As we go on our christian journey challenges will surely arise. No one was promised a smooth sail.  1 Peter 4:12  Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: However we must be encouraged to stay strong especially in those times when it seems we may want to fall or give up. Remembering that it is not an option. We have His mercy. We never grow too great that we no longer need the mercy of God, everyone of us, no matter the level we are, still needs His mercy as we go on.
