EMBRACE THE HOLY SPIRIT

Psalm 42:1&2

As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God.

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?


This thirst has been filled by Christ's promise, that is the release of the Holy Spirit. :


John 7:38

"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."


Today we are no longer under the bondage of Satan, sin and the world, but we have victory over them all. We are significant and so much empowered because we have been adopted as sons.


Isaiah 12:4

And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.


We can draw from that well of salvation, "The Holy Spirit" that our thirst is continually filled.


We don't have to wait for a challenge or trouble to begin to call on the name of the Lord or run around looking for help we should embibe continuous fellowship that we will always be in God's presence.


I am pained by the mistakes from decisions made because we are not patient to listen to the Spirit. We could have avoided so much unnecessary delays, hurts and regrets. O Lord help us to understand that the steps of the righteous are ordered by You. We yield to You today.


Psalms 37:23

The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.


We enjoy that quench of thirst in the Holy Spirit today, God with us day after day.


Thank You Lord.


MAY WE MAKE THE MOST OF HIM!

GOOD LIKE YOUR FATHER

Genesis 1:31 Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good! And evening passed and morning came, marking the sixth day. There is one thing we must have in mind, "it is the desire of our Heavenly Father that we should be like Him". He is good and He expects us to be good, we follow in His good nature. One of the attributes of the Heavenly Father's goodness is in the perfection of His work. What can be said of your works? Listen, the Psalmist sang: Psalms 118:23 This is the Lord’s doing, and it is wonderful to see. Look at those who walked with the Heavenly Father in scriptures, their works were wonderful to behold, is it when they worked in spiritual positions, Joseph and Daniel in interpretation of dreams and giving wise counsel; or the prophets when they delivered God's message or did miracles.
