WHEN WE PRAY

Matthew 21:22

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.


Does it mean that all our prayers are answered with a YES?


NO.


We must have in mind that, when we pray, a lot of activities take place, we need to remember that we pray to change things. Do we also understand that when we change a part, the other part is automatically affected.


We have people that may be requesting something that actually contradicts what we ask. 


Take the case of the sons of Zebedee:


Matthew 20:20 & 21

Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping [him], and desiring a certain thing of him.

And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.


Well we may all attack her as selfish, in fact, the other disciples were not happy with them. This is an illustration of requests that affect other things or other people.


Our Heavenly Father puts all the factors into consideration and does the best for us "His Will".


Sometimes our requests could bring evil to us, for really we only know in part and are also influenced by emotions and sight.


This is why the scripture counsels that we ask according to His will. We can then say that those who knows the Lord's will concerning a matter will definitely get a Yes to their prayers on that matter. Selah.


We don't know all, so we may definitely pray amiss. We could go as far as praying for selfish intent, intentionally or otherwise. Here the Holy Spirit helps us that we do not pray amiss.


So no matter what you are expecting this year, the Lord may have already answered, though it may not have been exactly the way you expected it. Wait for it.


However, remember:


Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.


So does any delay or expectation want to take away your joy, and make you not able to join in thanksgiving? Do not give it room, because the Lord heard you, the delay would be for your good.


God would work it out. He keeps all things balanced, the way He keeps the universe balanced.


Is any around you in discomfort, represent your Father. Bring them joy, by the Father's Spirit in you.


Remember you are blessed to be a blessing.


Halleluyah, the blessings are still flowing down.


Our prayers are answered. Glory to God forevermore.


We are victorious.

BY HIS MERCY

Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. As we go on our christian journey challenges will surely arise. THE MISERY OF THE DRUNKARD

Isaiah 28:1 Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty [is] a fading flower, which [are] on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine! Being drunk is an attribute related to losing control of one's mind due to the strong influence of a substance such as alcohol.
