GOD'S MERCY

-

We really need God's mercy.


1 Timothy 1:2

Unto Timothy, [my] own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, [and] peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.


Every wise believer knows that we cannot outgrow the mercies of the Lord.


It is not about being too humble. 

No. 

Can one be proud towards God? What do we have to boast about?


This is why we find the apostles praying mercy on their beloved each time they write to them.


Romans 15:9

And that the Gentiles might glorify God for [his] mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.


Ephesians 2:4

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,


Jude 1:2

Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.


For if not of God's mercy we would be consumed by the flesh and the continuous plots of the enemy and enemies (the evil ones)


What of our mistakes, it is God's mercy that covers us that we do not get into trouble or bear the full consequences. Glory!


One thing we can do to acknowledge God's mercy is to give Him praise and in doing this we are careful not to take it for granted.


Also very important: 

the Lord shows You mercy, you must also show mercy to others!


Before we take that rash action, show that hate, do that evil or display that pride, we must always remember that:


Lamentation 3:22

[It is of] the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.


We are a new breed, no matter how much situations would want to make us feel, we must always remember that we are in Christ of the Heavenly Father.


Help us Good Lord.


PRAYER

Loving Father, we will continue to seek Your mercy. You can see and You know all things help us Lord to be victorious in all situations. Thank You for Your mercy and grace. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


We are victorious.

BY HIS MERCY

Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. As we go on our christian journey challenges will surely arise. No one was promised a smooth sail.  1 Peter 4:12  Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: However we must be encouraged to stay strong especially in those times when it seems we may want to fall or give up. THE MISERY OF THE DRUNKARD

Isaiah 28:1 Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty [is] a fading flower, which [are] on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine! Being drunk is an attribute related to losing control of one's mind due to the strong influence of a substance such as alcohol.
