DILIGENCE
Proverbs 22:29
Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean [men].
One thing we must perfect as we enter the coming year is Diligence.
The Lord does not encourage laziness. So we should not. This cuts across every area of our lives. Physical, Spiritual, Academic etc.
Proverbs 13:4
The soul of the sluggard desireth, and [hath] nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
Romans 12:11(NLT)
Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.
1 Thessalonians 5:14(NLT)
Brothers and sisters, we urge you to warn those who are lazy. Encourage those who are timid. Take tender care of those who are weak. Be patient with everyone.
Proverbs 12:24
The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.
Proverbs 21:5
The thoughts of the diligent [tend] only to plenteousness; but of every one [that is] hasty only to want.
Proverbs 13:4
The soul of the sluggard desireth, and [hath] nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
2Peter 1:5
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
We must not be counted with the sluggards in whatever we do. We should carry the nature of our Father.
Genesis 1:31
And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
We should be able to come to the same conclusion as our Heavenly Father.
So, as we prepare for the new year, let us look back at how we have lived this year, ready to correct every mistake. So that as the Lord opens new doors for us next year we will be ready to diligently take advantage and make the most of it.
We and those under our care would be accounted as diligent. Help us Good Lord.
PRAYER
Loving Father, as we prepare for the coming year, help us to be better and more diligent in all our ways. We will excel and Lord You will be happy with our work. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.
He calls us blessed.
Love
@the watcher.
