ARE YOU GODLY?

Proverbs 14:12 (the message)

There's a way of life that looks harmless enough; look again - it leads straight to hell.

When we read scriptures and digest in, by the power of the Holy Spirit we see that it is a spiritual starvation to stay out of the word of God.

Yes, we live in times where a lot of twists have been introduced here and there to make people feel that God has changed. No, He has not, He actually has revealed Himself clearer to man.

Ephesians 3:9

And to make all [men] see what [is] the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

It is God that makes us bear good fruit by His Spirit. Let us remember that the man that God created was good until he decided to walk in disobedience.

We who have believed are not to make the same mistake.

3 John 1:11(message)

Friend, don't go along with evil. Model the good. The person who does good does God's work. The person who does evil falsifies God, doesn't know the first thing about God.

So we have liberty in that we are free from the bondage of the law, not to walk in disobedience to the law but having a greater standard. Grace which is an outflow of God's love.

John 3:16,18(NLT)

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

“There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.

For we believe, and thus walk in love, that is the evidence of our belief:

1John 3:23

And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

So there is no way one can be in Christ and choose the same path that leadeth to destruction:

Romans 1:18

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Ephesians 5:6-7

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

It is foolishness to play around with sin:

Fools make fun of guilt, but the godly acknowledge it and seek reconciliation.

Our maturity should not be with negative weights but with a good conscience. The Spirit will always lead us to walk in righteousness.

Yes we have our say, thus we must choose to walk in obedience. Open your eyes. Selah

Many confuse this as an outside show, no, it is a spiritual show from a pure heart, for:

Matthew 5:8

Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Remember that it is the righteous that the Lord leads!

Psalms 37:23 NLT

The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.

PRAYER 

Loving Father, guide my steps let all I do please You in word, thoughts and deed, I will be found worthy. Your mercy will speak for me. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

He calls us blessed.
