ARE YOU A FAITHFUL ONE?
Acts 2:46
And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
Can this be said of the church today?
The fellowship at the beginning was so powerful and intense. The love was so pure that it was difficult for an imposter or an unfaithful one to survive in their midst. Ananias and his wife could testify to this.
Acts 5:5
And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
However as the church grew people with varying motives and those who were not sincere could hide in the midst of the brethren. Wolves in sheep clothing.
Acts 20:29
For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Others come in as hypocrites, pretenders, double minded etc.
Matthew 13:30
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
However in all the Lord expects us to be faithful. Being light always, no matter how the darkness attempts to penetrate.
Remember you ought not be the culprit. Selah
Matthew 18:7
Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
We must be found faithful. We must know the God we serve and so, faithfully do.
The key is love. Remaining in His love, we cannot get it wrong.
Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
So, where would you place yourself? Are you a faithful one or are you among the unfaithful. Remember the true questions is "Where does God place us?". Selah
2 Timothy 2:20-21
In a wealthy home some utensils are made of gold and silver, and some are made of wood and clay. The expensive utensils are used for special occasions, and the cheap ones are for everyday use.
If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.
Will you truly work for the Lord, edifying the church and blessing the brethren or are you among the hypocrites, gossips, thieves, pretenders, the proud, money worshippers, filthy ones, sexually immoral, backbiters or full of jealousy.
You must take a stand and the better to be with the Lord. For what a curse to be found among the brethren but rejected at the end. God forbid.
The choice is yours, choose wisely. Be faithful.
PRAYER
Loving Father, help us as believers to stay faithful, using your measure and not that of men. May we continually please You in all things that we may really be Your true children. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.
He calls us blessed.
Love
@the watcher.
