OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

Isaiah 29:13

Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near [me] with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:


Do we understand that the relationship God worked out with us in Christ Jesus is that of Father to son?


Why do we then want to worship God with the wisdom of men. Crafted laws and ideology of men instead of by the Word and the Spirit.


Jesus explained that at the new birth the Holy Spirit comes to live in us. God makes our temple His dwelling place.


Revelation 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.


That is why He says:. . . anyone. . .


John 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:


That is, if you believe, you are a son, he believes he is a son, she believes she is a son and they believe they become sons.


This is why it is justified for each one to give an account!


Therefore, if a denomination makes church the oracle they miss it. We do not undermine the role of the church, every believer must be part of a local assembly but no believer is saved because of the church but every believer is part of the church. Selah.


Wait! We are the church not a place, not a group of leaders, not a particular set of people, be they bishops, priests, monks, nuns, elders, general overseers, prophets, clergy or laity, pope etc. No. All believers are the church! Selah.


Listen, you are first a believer, then we come to worship in the gathering of believers. Selah!


Do not play around with your personal relationship with God! Know God by yourself, He did not call you as a church or as a denomination but as a believer, a son. Wake up, else you become a nuisance even to the church.


So, nothing should disrupt your personal relationship with God, no one, no matter their title should take God's place in your life.


Many leaders in the church have been led astray or even destroyed because they have let people put them as a substitute to God. No!


If we understand this, we then help our spiritual leaders fulfil their purpose and together the church is edified and God's work is done. Glory.


The Lord calls us all to amend our ways, He is the loving Father:


Isaiah 29:24
They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.


Psalm 147:11
The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.


We are called by God, we are sons of God and we must do His work.


Knowing this, we therefore cannot live carelessly. We cannot say it doesn't matter. Hello, it does matter, you represent a kingdom and are now of a lineage, a heavenly one at that, you must live like the royalty you are birthed into.


1Peter 2:9
But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:


Help us Good Lord.


PRAYER
Loving Father, thank You for calling me, yes me, as Your son, help me Lord to walk in this truth and thus fulfil Your purpose in my life. Yes I prosper and increase in all good things. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

TRADE WISELY

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Many have traded their joy chasing over material things and the pleasures and satisfaction of the world. The question is "is it worth it?". Yes we must earn, work and keep improving day after day but we must remember "nothing is free". We must pay a price. So, what are we ready to sacrifice? CHRIST'S RULE

Isaiah 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. The prophecy on Judah's predicament did not end there, there was the prophecy of the return of the remnant. The end of the days will see a new wave of peace and joyous happiness.
