Be a Watcher

Isaiah 32:3

And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.


There is a need for watchers in every generation, those that observe the times and thus stand in the gap to intercede for the people of God.


You as a believer could be the watcher for your immediate and extended family, your church, your establishment, your nation and for the unsaved. To stand in the gap, ensuring that the will of the Lord comes to pass in their lives.


Isaiah 32:3
And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.


Daniel stood in the gap for his people and understood by study when the time of their deliverance was due, we see also Ezra and Nehemiah, those who understand that it was time for the rebuilding of their city.


Daniel 9:2&3
In the first year of his rule, I, Daniel, saw clearly from the books the number of years given by the word of the Lord to the prophet Jeremiah, in which the making waste of Jerusalem was to be complete, that is, seventy years.
And turning my face to the Lord God, I gave myself up to prayer, requesting his grace, going without food, in haircloth and dust.


Are you a watcher? You are relevant, keep interceding, keep studying, keep prophesying and keep teaching. The break forth is already close.


Isaiah 32:15
Till the spirit comes on us from on high, and the waste land becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field is changed into a wood.


Distractions, delays, temptations and trials will come but we overcome them all. For we stand in the power of the Almighty God sealed in us by His Spirit in Christ Jesus. Glory, we win.


PRAYER
Loving Father, help me stand at my duty post, to watch as You have assigned me by the power of Your Word and Spirit. Your will be done O Lord, the glory is Yours and the blessings are mine. All will rejoice because of what You do through me. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

TRADE WISELY

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Many have traded their joy chasing over material things and the pleasures and satisfaction of the world. The question is "is it worth it?". Yes we must earn, work and keep improving day after day but we must remember "nothing is free". We must pay a price. So, what are we ready to sacrifice? CHRIST'S RULE

Isaiah 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. The prophecy on Judah's predicament did not end there, there was the prophecy of the return of the remnant. The end of the days will see a new wave of peace and joyous happiness.
