I TRUST IN THE LORD

2Corinthians 3:4

And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:


How long have we walked with God, did we just get converted, or have we been believers for years or decades?


One thing we must learn to do is to TRUST


It is not just something we recite or talk about, it is something we learn.


Yes, if I should be a child for anyone, let it be first of the Father, He knows, He cares, He is patient, He is kind. And of course, He LOVES.


Every child must learn to trust their father.


Ephesians 1:13
In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,


If you do not learn to trust by hearing and believing, then trials, temptation and tribulations would teach you how to trust!


Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.


In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.


Do not forget that the origin of our salvation was trusting in God. We ought to build on that trust, nourishing it day after day.


1Timothy 4:10-11
 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.


These things command and teach.


Do we teach this?


* Are you a wife? Trust God by submitting to your own husband.


1Peter 3:5
For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:


* Are you a husband, trust God by loving your own wife.


* Are you an employee, trust God by doing your work efficiently, be faithful to your leader


* Are you a leader or an employer, treat your subordinates or employees well, give them their due, seek their welfare, train them to fulfil your objectives and goals.


* Are you a child, honour your parents. Are you a parent, do not provoke your children but cater for and nourish them.


* Are you a minister, bishop, GO, pastor etc. . .  serve! Do not lord it over others, there is only one Lord, the Heavenly Father!


No matter who you are . . .


Let God be seen inside you, outside you and in all that you do.


Are you wealthy or do you desire to be? Show your trust in God by:


1Timothy 6:17-18
 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

That they do good, that they be rich in good work, ready to distribute, and willing to communicate;


Declare today that you will trust God.


Hebrews 2:13
And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.


We will end the year in peace.


We will rejoice again and again.


PRAYER
Loving Father, I trust You, help me to trust You more. I will not be disappointed but I will be appointed into greater things by You. All things fall in place for my favour. Yes, I trust You Lord. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

TRADE WISELY

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Many have traded their joy chasing over material things and the pleasures and satisfaction of the world. The question is "is it worth it?". Yes we must earn, work and keep improving day after day but we must remember "nothing is free". We must pay a price. So, what are we ready to sacrifice? DO UNTO OTHERS . . .

Matthew 7:12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. It is hypocritical of us to expect people to stand with us when we are experiencing challenges yet when we see others face their own challenges, we begin to imagine what they must have done wrong or maybe they annoyed God or did one evil or the other instead of reaching out to help as we would desire others to do for us. The same thing goes for prosperity, when the Lord opens a door for us and we have abundance of wealth or a breakthrough we expect others to rejoice with us, more so, some would even find it hard to give to others. What is our reaction when someone else gets this breakthrough, do we get suddenly suspicious without reason. Do we expect the person to reach out to us?
