God's Grace

1Peter 5:7

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Two things are important when we consider the enjoyment of God's care.

First:

HUMILITY
1Peter 5:5-6
Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all [of you] be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time

HUMILITY
(According to CS Lewis: humility is not thinking less of yourself. It is thinking of yourself less)

That is, you are wise enough to think more of God. Not only when there is a problem or challenge, but as a lifestyle.

Remember that you cannot say you live God if you don't love others:

1 John 4:20 NLT
If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see?

Matthew 15:8
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with [their] lips; but their heart is far from me.

So Peter by the Holy Spirit writes: we cannot enjoy casting our cares on God until we have learnt to humble ourselves to Him.

1Peter 5:6
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

Secondly:

WATCH!

1Peter 5:8-9
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

So we have learnt to be humble, we thus submit to God. We cast all our cares on Him.

Do we thus go to sleep. No!

We understand that there is the enemy. We must be vigilant and be sober(alert). He would not rest. He is not comfortable with our pact with God, he wants to see us fail. He is a rival.

He tried the first man, he even tried the Christ himself.

We must understand this and walk in this wisdom, that we may not fail.

Ephesians 5:15
See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

In trusting we must understand  how it works, that we are not discouraged. Halleluyah, we have His Spirit, and if we have submitted to Him, He brings us into all understanding.

I see us free from unnecessary burdens as we cast all our cares on Him.

We will not fall for the enemy and his tricks.

It is well with us.

Do stay in prayer, in the word and in worship.

God bless you real good.

PRAYER
Loving Father, release Your grace upon me and all those who believe that we will not fall into any of the tricks or temptations of the enemies. Instead we will please You in all things bringing glory to Your name. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

He calls us blessed.

Love
@the watcher.
