We are Free to Worship

Psalm 24:3

Who may go up into the hill of the Lord? and who may come into his holy place?

The hypocritical leaders of the Sanhedrin felt they had the right to put people out of the synagogue because they were sinners. They felt they were the ones to determine who was worthy or not worthy of worship.

Luke 18:11-13
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men [are], extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as [his] eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

Well Christ ended all that tyranny and false monopoly.

Halleluyah, the glorious lamb of God came and declared God's liberation:

John 4:21, 23 & 24
Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.

The church building is a place of gathering, where all believers come together to worship God, sinners come, believe and are cleansed, then become part of the family of God.

NO ONE SHOULD BAR ANYONE: It should be God's house, where people who have God's Spirit in them come to worship.

Does that mean that people can misbehave in our gatherings? No!

Christ sent away those who turned the place of PRAYER into a market place.

Yes the leaders have the right to stop people who come to misbehave in the gatherings.

Wait, if a minister or leader turns the gathering into some money making scheme, a comedy arena, teaching false or adulterated gospel, or even some mockery of the divine by displaying fake miracles or false prophecies?

Don't you think Christ would have chased them out with whips the way He did those at the temple?

Every correction starts with oneself.

May we have a gathering of true believers filled with God's Spirit. May Christ be the centre of our gathering as God is glorified. May we come together with the same mind of Christ, edifying one another, receiving more power day after day as Christ reveals Himself to us more and more.

We win as a family.

Glory to God.

PRAYER
Loving Father, I pray for all believers today, help us to get it right. The gate of hell will not prevail against us. You O Lord will be with us in all our gatherings. We win in You. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

He calls us blessed.

Love
@the watcher.
