LIVING LIKE CHRIST

Ephesians 4:20

But ye have not so learned Christ;

Many things we do, we need to source its origin, many things we teach, practice and emphasize we need to prove that it is of Christ.

It is terrible to attribute to the Holy Spirit what is not His. Jesus called it the unforgivable sin. Therefore beware preacher, teacher and clergy, you cannot afford to teach errors, you cannot afford to say "Thus says that Lord . . ." when the Lord hadn't said!

We need to search our hearts,  make it bare to the Father and say "anything that is not of you let it not be part of me"

David said:

Psalms 139:23-24
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

Romans 8:9
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

When Christ Jesus spoke they heard Him in proverbs but when the Holy Spirit was revealed we hear Him in clarity.

His will becomes our will thus we ask and we receive.

John 16:23
And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give [it] you.

We must live the life we received not chasing after the things of the world (summarized as "LUST" 1John 2:15), the Lord takes care of His own.

That said, I continue to emphasize that laziness and complacency have no place in the kingdom of God. God would not do for us what He has enabled us to do for ourselves. So brethren, work diligently to make income that you might prosper. Stay upright, let integrity and diligence be your watch word.

May nothing take us away from the life we have in Christ, may we not lay claim to this life and live like we are of the world.

Matthew 7:20
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

PRAYER

Loving Father by Your power, we will bear good fruit, we will live the life of Christ,  Your Holy Spirit will lead us. Thank you merciful Father. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

He calls us blessed.

Love
