LIKE MINDED - TRUE CHURCH OF CHRIST.

Philippians 2:2

Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, [being] of one accord, of one mind.


Like mindedness is one thing missing in most church gatherings. We as a church were made to be in one accord, having one mind, one purpose of one Father, of one Spirit.


That was how the church was created:


Act 1:14

These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.


Act 4:32

And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any [of them] that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.


Has this been the case?


We live in times where brethren cannot fully trust one another, where pastors and leaders have to cajole to get members to give. Where everyone seems to have his or her own mind separate from the purpose of the kingdom.


Many carry experiences of how they have trusted and have been betrayed. This is not the church that Christ created.


Faith is shaken, many seek their own and love seems lost. This would not be for long.


Philippians 1:27

Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;


This is not the example Christ showed us, He died for a true church a people who would walk in the way of the Lord as true citizens of His kingdom.


Truly, these are the people the Lord will return for, so do not get it twisted, no matter what those clerics or man of God (god of men) say, if they are contrary to God's will it doesn't matter, for God's will and instructions will over ride all. Everyone must be subject to God.


In these last days there will be a fresh outpouring of God's Spirit. Feeble minds will arise from their slumber, the church would be awakened. Love would rule. God would raise true leaders who will help believers live the true life of Christ by the power of His Spirit.


Hosea 3:5

Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.


Some would still be left out, BUT IT WOULD NOT BE YOU!


Remember that the Lord whose Spirit is in us returns with His reward with Him. Let us all be ready.


Revelation 2:17

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth [it].


Many distractions, temptations and persecutions may exist, but we remain more than conquerors. Halleluyah. We enjoy our embassy here on earth.


2 Corinthians 5:20

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech [you] by us: we pray [you] in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.


So stay with the mind of Christ.


So help us Good Lord.


Glory to God!


PRAYER

Loving Father, I walk in the mind of Christ help me by Your Spirit to live this way, help all believers wherever we are to live and walk this way, that at the end You will say, "Come in good and faithful servant . . .". Your sacrifice is more than enough Lord. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

DO UNTO OTHERS . . .

Matthew 7:12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. It is hypocritical of us to expect people to stand with us when we are experiencing challenges yet when we see others face their own challenges, we begin to imagine what they must have done wrong or maybe they annoyed God or did one evil or the other instead of reaching out to help as we would desire others to do for us. The same thing goes for prosperity, when the Lord opens a door for us and we have abundance of wealth or a breakthrough we expect others to rejoice with us, more so, some would even find it hard to give to others. What is our reaction when someone else gets this breakthrough, do we get suddenly suspicious without reason. Do we expect the person to reach out to us?
