Isaiah 26:3

Thou wilt keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed [on thee]: because he trusteth in thee.


Do we understand that trusting God is actually the lifestyle of the believer?


The portion of the verse of prophesy we see in Isaiah 26:3 spoke of the difficult part. . . "whose mind is stayed on thee" ...


Many will speak, threats will come, fears will arise it is common in the world but when everyone is jittery, we should put our trust in God.


It brings us to the revelation through Apostle Paul:


Romans 12:2

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.


The renewing of the mind is a change from that which we have learnt from the world to that which the spirit of God breeds in us.


That is, our mind is on Christ Jesus, we are transformed to His person day after day.


2 Corinthians 5:17(NLT)

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!


However we wonder if every believer had this experience!

When one speaks and you feel bitterness, hatred, jealousy or a type of competition you begin to wonder what kind of spirit they carry.


Recall the first verse, if your mind is in Christ, one thing you experience is "PERFECT PEACE" it is the evidence of the spirit you carry.


As I always say, my joy is not because of what happens around me but because of what I have inside. The joy of the Lord is my strength.


Nehemiah 8:10b

Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”


The issue is we forget that all the laws and prophets and the commands are summed up in one. . .LOVE


If you don't have it you are not of God.


1 John 3:14,23

If we love our brothers and sisters who are believers, it proves that we have passed from death to life. But a person who has no love is still dead.

And this is his commandment: We must believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as he commanded us.


It is not a coincidence that the fruit of the Spirit is . . .


. . .Love, Joy . . . 


So it is time to align Your thoughts to God's Spirit. That You may enjoy God's presence and blessings at all times.


May the peace of the Lord which passes all understanding dwell in us now and forever. Amen.


PRAYER

Loving Father thank You for Your love and peace in my heart. Help me to think right by the leading of Your Spirit. For truly Lord Your joy is my strength. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

DO UNTO OTHERS . . .

Matthew 7:12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. It is hypocritical of us to expect people to stand with us when we are experiencing challenges yet when we see others face their own challenges, we begin to imagine what they must have done wrong or maybe they annoyed God or did one evil or the other instead of reaching out to help as we would desire others to do for us. The same thing goes for prosperity, when the Lord opens a door for us and we have abundance of wealth or a breakthrough we expect others to rejoice with us, more so, some would even find it hard to give to others. What is our reaction when someone else gets this breakthrough, do we get suddenly suspicious without reason. Do we expect the person to reach out to us?
