START YOUR MORNING WITH PRAYER

Psalms 5:3

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct [my prayer] unto thee, and will look up.


It may look orthodox or religious or whatever contemporary name we may give it. However every wise christian begins the day with prayer.


Reading a psalm is a good way to set up your mind. Mature christians know that it helps to clear the mind of all the dirt and troubles of the day before.


Jesus practised this and so did His disciples.


Mark 1:35

And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.


This needs no philosophy, no special teaching or special revelation.


Dear brethren, begin your morning in prayer, teach your children and all those in your care to do so.


Jesus showed us this good example, our father's of old did same too.


Remember:


1 Thessalonians 5:17 

Never stop praying. 


PRAYER

Loving Father, thank You for the direct link to You through Your Son Jesus the Christ, I will pray ceaselessly and I will win ceaselessly. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

It may have been easy when we first believed, to visualize the promises. We reach out with zeal, loving God, seeking to do exploits. DO UNTO OTHERS . . .

Matthew 7:12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. It is hypocritical of us to expect people to stand with us when we are experiencing challenges yet when we see others face their own challenges, we begin to imagine what they must have done wrong or maybe they annoyed God or did one evil or the other instead of reaching out to help as we would desire others to do for us. The same thing goes for prosperity, when the Lord opens a door for us and we have abundance of wealth or a breakthrough we expect others to rejoice with us, more so, some would even find it hard to give to others. What is our reaction when someone else gets this breakthrough, do we get suddenly suspicious without reason. Do we expect the person to reach out to us?
