KEEP BEING GOOD

Matthew 5:16  

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.


Naturally people get acquainted with us because of one good nature or the other they observe that we have. Even places of employment take us in because of one good quality or the other they believe we have. Those qualities qualify us and make us useful and a blessing to others.


Matthew 5:16

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.


Our good friends came close to us because of those good characteristics we carry. (although some might just be there, cause of what they can get from us).


Titus 3:8

This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.


In all, as time passes by we must not let those good qualities of ours fade away due to pressures, challenges or bad reactions of others.


1Peter 2:15

For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men--


Colossians 1:10

that you may have a walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;


We are to get better by the day, not discouraged or angered but better and better.


2Thessalonians 3:13

 But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.


We are the set apart, challenges don't break us, they make us. We rise stronger and stronger and get better and better


Remember it is the "Joy of the Lord" that is our strength, not external things or events.


May we shine brighter day after day.

PRAYER 

Loving Father, by Your Spirit help me to maintain good works, doing what pleases You at all time. Glorify Your name in my life and let me be Your channel to reach to many. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.


He calls us blessed.

DO YOU STILL SEE?

Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, it will not tarry. DO UNTO OTHERS . . .

Matthew 7:12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. It is hypocritical of us to expect people to stand with us when we are experiencing challenges yet when we see others face their own challenges, we begin to imagine what they must have done wrong or maybe they annoyed God or did one evil or the other instead of reaching out to help as we would desire others to do for us. The same thing goes for prosperity, when the Lord opens a door for us and we have abundance of wealth or a breakthrough we expect others to rejoice with us, more so, some would even find it hard to give to others. What is our reaction when someone else gets this breakthrough, do we get suddenly suspicious without reason. Do we expect the person to reach out to us?
