ARE YOU PERSECUTED?

Matthew 5:10

God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.

Matthew 5:10

Blessed [are] they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Do you always do the right things?

This question could be tricky and could be very much simple.

Someone may ask: "What is the right thing?"

This now brings the debate on the standard for morals, then the issue of the law comes into the discussion.

Thank God that every human he created was given a conscience that gives the initial clarity to what is wrong and what is right. That is why even a toddler who has no learning yet knows when they do somethings wrong.

So what is our standard for morals? It should be the Creator Himself. The scriptures call it, the "fear of God".

Not as an evil fear but as God being the standard of moral, the One whom we consider when we make decisions.

Now, does the world want that type of standard? Not really, for the world goes contrary to God's will and we see lately and also in time past that the world try to legitimize perversions as a norm.

So scriptures says that if you are persecuted because you stick to righteousness, letting God be the One who dictates your life then be sure that you are blessed of the Lord for the kingdom of Heaven is yours. Glory.

Have you joined the world to do evil or have you separated yourself to live righteously?

Yes, you might make mistakes but stay focused on living the life of righteousness and not contaminating yourself with the world.

Romans 12:1-2

And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

However, if you are doing wrong, being a busybody into other people's affairs, lazy, not doing a good work, or bringing about discord, do not say when you are held to account, that you are persecuted. You lie!

The persecution here only has to do with walking in righteousness. Not when you go around as a gossip, carry burdens of bad character that you refused to destroy, talking carelessly, not being deligent as a spouse, parent, child, employee, employer, leader or even as a spiritual leader.

You will be called into account and whenever you are do not call it persecution. You lie!!!

1 Peter 4:15,17

If you suffer, however, it must not be for murder, stealing, making trouble, or prying into other people’s affairs.

For the time has come for judgment, and it must begin with God’s household. And if judgment begins with us, what terrible fate awaits those who have never obeyed God’s Good News?

The righteous persecution are those that happen because of your righteous living. Full stop!

1 Peter 4:14,19

If you are insulted because you bear the name of Christ, you will be blessed, for the glorious Spirit of God rests upon you.

So if you are suffering in a manner that pleases God, keep on doing what is right, and trust your lives to the God who created you, for he will never fail you.

So, brethren are you really persecuted? Is anyone stopping you from walking in righteousness and serving your God faithfully?

If NO, then be quiet and begin to intercede for those who are actually persecuted that they may stand in faith, while you watch that you would not fall.

May the Lord guide us aright.

Keep walking in righteousness.

PRAYER

Loving Father keep me in Your righteousness which we know is in Christ Jesus, may I never negotiate contrary to Your way. Help me Good Lord. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.

He calls us blessed.

Love

@the watcher.
