DIFFERENT PHASES YET IN PEACE
Hebrews 10:24
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
The same way the weather does not remain constant at all times, the state of the mind of man varies with what he experiences at each point in time, thus you may not be in the same state of mind with your neighbour.
You may be in:
* plenty while the other is in want;
* happiness while the other is sad;
* strength while the other needs rest;
* hunger while the other is filled already;
* need of conversation while the other just wants quiet;
* a spiritual light while the other is in a carnal state
* a need of people around you while the other wants time alone
* an experience of joy in their work while the other hungers for a way out.
We do not expect to always be in the same situation with others because our seasons could differ. When we know this we also understand when to give and when to receive.
Thus to avoid strife, wisdom says we should consider one another.
Hebrews 12:14-15
Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.
Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.
We would not avoid one another but we should however remember that strife comes when we misunderstand one another, and thus act in ways that hurt the other.
Therefore we watch our words, body language and actions. Love conquers!
Stop making it all about you at all times:
* they did this against me,
*they did that against me,
. . . are you saying you haven't done anything against them or others?
You would say, how?
"They haven't mentioned any wrong I have done against them."
IT IS THE SAME WAY YOU ALSO HAVE NOT TOLD THEM ABOUT THE WRONG YOU FEEL THEY HAVE DONE AGAINST YOU!
Can we stop all these foolishness and childishness. We should be serious about the things that matter to God.
Don't forget the very nature you carry if you are God's own.
Galatians 5:22-23
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
We will discern.
Let it be all about God, then you would love yourself and others in the right way.
James 3:18
And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.
O help us Good Lord.
PRAYER
Loving Father by Your Holy Spirit grant us the grace to live in peace, showing forth the fruit of righteousness. Our prayers would not be for self alone, we will intercede for others. We would walk in Your love. Glory to Your name Lord forevermore.
He calls us blessed.
Love
