BRINGING THE MESSAGE HOME

Exodus 4:30-31

Aaron told them everything the Lord had told Moses, and Moses performed the miraculous signs as they watched.

Then the people of Israel were convinced that the Lord had sent Moses and Aaron. When they heard that the Lord was concerned about them and had seen their misery, they bowed down and worshiped.


Are you bringing the right message to those who listen to you?


The Lord always reaches out to people, before Christ was revealed man kept drifting far away from God. However God had to keep a people through whom He will will fulfill His redemption. Israel was the link to reconcile all men to God.


This is why God said:


Exodus 4:22-23

Then you will tell him, ‘This is what the Lord says: Israel is my firstborn son.

I commanded you, “Let my son go, so he can worship me.” But since you have refused, I will now kill your firstborn son!’”


There may be questions in today's verses, that we may not be able to explain fully. However, what are we to take from this study?


No man is left out of God's plan of redemption. Christ was the plan, and Israel was to be the nation to bring it forth.


We must send out the right message. 


Just as Moses was sent with God's message to the children of Israel, we are all sent with God's message to all people. Christ revealed, the hope of glory.


Colossians 1:26-28

This message was kept secret for centuries and generations past, but now it has been revealed to God’s people.

For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.

So we tell others about Christ, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all the wisdom God has given us. We want to present them to God, perfect in their relationship to Christ.


We must advertise the Sender and not the bearer of the message. Moses went with miraculous sign, not to show of himself, but to declare the Lord.


Who are you proclaiming, are you sharing God's glory?


Isaiah 42:8a

“I am the Lord; that is my name! 

I will not give my glory to anyone else, 


The truth is this, God will always work with you to send the message, however you must know who is boss. The Heavenly Father is, and His message is His Son Yeshua HaMaschiac, Jesus the Christ.


Let it be known in your home, church, fellowship, work, community anywhere you go as the Lord leads you.


We are blessed by His message and have become His forever.


Don't accept any contrary message, and don't make it about yourself.


How do you go about it? God told Moses:


Exodus 4:11-12

Then the Lord asked Moses, “Who makes a person’s mouth? Who decides whether people speak or do not speak, hear or do not hear, see or do not see? Is it not I, the Lord?

Now go! I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say.”


I love how Pastor Taiwo Lemoshe says it:


"The caller is the Doer"


Glory to God.


He calls us blessed.

Remember: God is in control.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out.
