WHEN GOD REMEMBERS YOU

Genesis 42:3,5-6

So Joseph’s ten older brothers went down to Egypt to buy grain.

So Jacob’s sons arrived in Egypt along with others to buy food, for the famine was in Canaan as well.

Since Joseph was governor of all Egypt and in charge of selling grain to all the people, it was to him that his brothers came. When they arrived, they bowed before him with their faces to the ground.

They had attempted to kill him (except Reuben), their intention was to kill him and his dream. However, you cannot stop what God has purposed, no one can, they can't be strong enough.

Genesis 37:18-20

When Joseph’s brothers saw him coming, they recognized him in the distance. As he approached, they made plans to kill him.

“Here comes the dreamer!” they said.

“Come on, let’s kill him and throw him into one of these cisterns. We can tell our father, ‘A wild animal has eaten him.’ Then we’ll see what becomes of his dreams!”

However, God had him covered. No wickedness of man can stop God's blessing for His blessed.

Isaiah 54:15

If any nation comes to fight you, it is not because I sent them.

Whoever attacks you will go down in defeat.

They all had to bow down to Joseph, the way it was revealed to him.

Genesis 42:6

Since Joseph was governor of all Egypt and in charge of selling grain to all the people, it was to him that his brothers came. When they arrived, they bowed before him with their faces to the ground.

All that persecuted him will now stand before him to be able to get food to eat.

*This included his former master Portiphar and his wife who caused him to be imprisoned unjustly!

See, when God remembers you, stories will be re-written because of you.

God had a good plan for Joseph, all Joseph had to do was to wait and endure the persecutions.

Habakkuk 2:3

This vision is for a future time.

It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled.

If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place.

It will not be delayed.

Don't allow temptations, persecutions, distractions and the ideas of men make you delay or truncate God's glorious plans for you.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Listen when God remembers you, His blessing will be so loud that you will forget that you once suffered! It erazes shame and all the persecution and pain you have gone through.

Genesis 41:51-52

Joseph named his older son Manasseh, for he said, “God has made me forget all my troubles and everyone in my father’s family.”

Joseph named his second son Ephraim, for he said, “God has made me fruitful in this land of my grief.”

Oh, when the Lord remembers you, it will not be just a testimony time in a gathering, everyone will announce you. Those who looked down on you, oppressed you, or tried to harm you will bury their face in shame.

Listen, it is not that God forgets, it is that your set time has come.

May the Lord remember us today.

He calls us blessed.

Love
