FULFIL YOUR PART

Genesis 10:8-10

Cush was also the ancestor of Nimrod, who was the first heroic warrior on earth.

Since he was the greatest hunter in the world, his name became proverbial. People would say, “This man is like Nimrod, the greatest hunter in the world.”

He built his kingdom in the land of Babylonia, with the cities of Babylon, Erech, Akkad, and Calneh.

As we saw few days ago, it is important to make your impact that you may have a good record when your genealogy is read.

We cannot all have the same calling or strength, however, in whatever the Lord has blessed us with, we must use rightly to profit.

Listen, God gave every human a gift/talent, the best thing to happen to a man is to discover it/them early, nurture them and begin to use them to do exploits.

I always tell parents who listen that the best gift they could give their children is to help them discover their talent on time, that they may perfect it/them for exploits.

Even in the church, gifts cannot be taken for granted, it is a must for growth.

When Christ was leaving the earth, He gave gifts to men:

Ephesians 4:8,11-12

That is why the Scriptures say,

“When he ascended to the heights, he led a crowd of captives and gave gifts to his people.”

Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers.

Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.

This is why Paul warned the church at Corinth:

2 Corinthians 12:19-20

Perhaps you think we’re saying these things just to defend ourselves. No, we tell you this as Christ’s servants, and with God as our witness. Everything we do, dear friends, is to strengthen you.

For I am afraid that when I come I won’t like what I find, and you won’t like my response. I am afraid that I will find quarreling, jealousy, anger, selfishness, slander, gossip, arrogance, and disorderly behavior.

For the sinful nature/sin is a distraction taking your mind and strength from what matters and indulging them in things that do not matter and the result is that there is no exploit.

Glory to God, that His mercy is renewed every morning.

Even if you feel you have lost it, it is not late, you can start today.

2 Corinthians 6:2

For God says,

“At just the right time, I heard you.

On the day of salvation, I helped you.”Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.

Glory to God forevermore.

We will fulfill our part.

He calls us blessed.

Love
