BANISHED WITH LOVE
Genesis 3:23
So the Lord God banished them from the Garden of Eden, and he sent Adam out to cultivate the ground from which he had been made.
So, Adam and his wife had to be sent out of their place of enjoyment to go face the toil of cultivating the earth. Previously they didn't have to till the earth or plant, the only had to tend and watch over it.
There is an adage that says: "you don't know what you have till you lose it".
Many have compromised relationships even marriage by heeding to a temporary pleasure or distraction. As wise believers we need to know the value of things. Jesus said:
Mark 8:37
Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
We must always count the cost so that we can make right choices. Better still have no choice. Selah!
Yet in all these God still showed man love.
Genesis 3:21
And the Lord God made clothing from animal skins for Adam and wife.
They lost God's glory that covered them, God didn't leave them that way, he made clothes for them.
Another thing most people do not understand was God not wanting them to eat from the tree of life.
When I meditated on this a long time ago, it was revealed to me that if they had eaten of this fruit they would have become immortal and then would have no chance of redemption.
These is the position of Satan and the fallen angels.
In all, we yet see a Father's love to His children who erred.
Look at your life, you will see the Heavenly Father's love even in your mistakes.
I recall the song by Chris Tomlin, I love the rendition by Casting Crowns - "Good, good Father", the chorus reads:
"You're a good, good Father
It's who You are, it's who You are, it's who You are
And I'm loved by You
It's who I am, it's who I am, it's who I am"
No matter what are you going through now, even if it is as a result of your mistake(s), never forget the good good Father you have, He will see you through.
Glory to God in the highest, His love is overwhelming.
He calls us blessed.
Love
