LEAVE VENGEANCE TO THE LORD

Proverbs 24:29

And don’t say, “Now I can pay them back for what they’ve done to me! I’ll get even with them!”


One big distraction we can get from fulfilling our purpose is to seek revenge.


What it does is to change the theme of our vision from a godly purpose to that of hate.


Hebrews 12:15

Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.


Why should we seat with family, brethren, neighbours or colleagues and the aura in the atmosphere is not love but hate and vengeance, how then can our prayers be answered?


1 Peter 3:8-9

Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.

Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.


We cannot afford to be tied up with the fruit of the flesh, but we must be liberated by the fruit of the Spirit. It is then that we can manifest the gifts of the Spirit having no condemnation.


Let love rule, for that is God's nature.


Instead of dwelling on vengeance, channel that energy to knowing more of Your Heavenly Father, let Him guide you to fulfil Your purpose. You give the enemy advantage by allowing evil take up your time and mind. Refocus!


We are winners, so we win.


Help us Good Lord.


He calls us blessed.

Remember: God is in control.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out.
