HIS PROMISES: NOT AMONG THE NUMBERS

Psalms 91:7

Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you.


That many perish from one trouble, pestilence, or war, does not imply that you would be affected. Truly we cannot stop the rising turmoils but as we ascertained yesterday, the Lord got us covered. It will not touch us. Halleluyah


This is the promise of God to us. 


Does this mean that we will not face persecution as believers? No, Paul explains further:


2 Corinthians 4:7-9

We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.

We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair.

We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.


Listen dear believer, God's promises of old are fulfilled in Christ Jesus and they are for now and the life to come.


No matter the numbers read out in the media concerning one evil or the other, you are not part of it. The Lord has promised - "these evils will not touch you". Glory to His name forever.


So stay in Prayer, worship and in His Word.


Our victory is a done deal.


1 Corinthians 15:57

But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.


Glory to God!


He calls us blessed.

Remember: God is in control.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out. Please don't give up, God is still in control Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
