COME OUT

Acts 2:40

Then Peter continued preaching for a long time, strongly urging all his listeners, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation!”

The message of salvation involves separation from the sinful world. Letting go of the cultures and ways which do not please the Heavenly Father.

Romans 12:1-2

And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

For there is a way of the world, cultures and practices that do not please the Heavenly Father.

We must understand something about man that God created, he was made in His image with the power of choice and that power could make or destroy Him. The kings of Israel at the time of scriptures had the pattern of following the way of the Lord, however almost all of them chose the path of disobedience, serving other gods. We see their records:

1 Kings 22:51-52

Ahaziah son of Ahab began to rule over Israel in the seventeenth year of King Jehoshaphat’s reign in Judah. He reigned in Samaria two years.

But he did what was evil in the Lord’s sight, following the example of his father and mother and the example of Jeroboam son of Nebat, who had led Israel to sin.

It was not as if they did not have the record of their forefathers who were faithful but they chose to copy those who were unfaithful. Of course they ended up badly and eventually led the people to slavery.à

Today, we see people who are supposed to be God's own, living the same error. Sects and teachers also misleading many, what exactly does man want?

Proverbs 14:12

There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.

The chasing after shadows and the dependence on elementals has caused man to practice idolatry even with the name "church" attached to them.

The message today should be "come out of them", we must teach that all turn to the Heavenly Father, the one and true God. Who is Spirit and desires us all to worship Him in Spirit.

John 4:24

For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”

Some may ask, what is our culture as believers? Our culture is in His word, and His word is available to all.

Proverbs 3:5-7

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.

Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the lord and turn away from evil.

We who already walk the path should remain faithful showing others good examples.

So help us Good Lord.

Lord Your character is my character, I walk Your path.

He calls us blessed.
