Ques sera sera - What will be will be

Isaiah 40:31

But those who are waiting for the Lord will have new strength; they will get wings like eagles: running, they will not be tired, and walking, they will have no weariness.

Things do fall in place, people do say "que sera sera" the spanish, italian originated phrase meaning "whatever will be, will be".

Yes, what will be will be, all things have been set in motion by God, so the morning will come and the night will come, there will be seasons and their will be times.

However what will be is still a function of what is done before time. Yes it was revealed that there would be famine in Egypt for seven years but before these, there would be a boom of harvest for a seven years.

What Egypt does in the seven years of plenty would determine what the seven years of famine will be. Thank God they had a Joseph in place.

Those who do exploits are those who do what they ought to today, today.

I love this principle:

"I am what I am today as a result of what I did yesterday and I will be what I am tomorrow as a result of what I do today."

The first step is committing ourself to God, let Him lead the way, not the other way round. When we give Him control then we have less to worry about.

God controls all things and has the power to change and yet cannot be changed, those who will defile time and seasons are those who have learnt to wait on Him, get instructions and act by His leading.

Daniel 11:32b

but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.

Psalm 91:14

Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

That is the advantage of knowing Him who is not limited by "que sera sera",

While others struggle with earthy wisdom we get the grace to operate by divine wisdom and direction.

Even when we wait and people laugh at us, we come out at last with joy, knowing that the wait is worth it, because we know whom we have believed.

Let us be careful of advices that take God out of the picture. A lot of trouble we can save ourselves from if we would rest it on God.

1Peter 5:7

casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Not forgetting that it is not an abstract submission, we should listen to, and obey instruction. He is our Father!

May we never settle for what is not ours.

May those "good" which are ours never elude us.

May no one spoil our joy.

May our "que sera sera" be God's will for us

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Welcome to another day of joy!

He calls us blessed
