THEY CAN'T STOP GOD'S PLAN

Matthew 27:64-66

So we request that you seal the tomb until the third day. This will prevent his disciples from coming and stealing his body and then telling everyone he was raised from the dead! If that happens, we’ll be worse off than we were at first.”

Pilate replied, “Take guards and secure it the best you can.”

So they sealed the tomb and posted guards to protect it.

How hard they tried, even after his death they wanted to end everything about Him, what they didn't know was that it was just the beginning. 

They come after you, they thought they have won but they do not know that the Lord is just beginning with you. 

Psalms 70:2-3

May those who try to kill me be humiliated and put to shame. 

May those who take delight in my trouble be turned back in disgrace.

Let them be horrified by their shame, for they said, “Aha! We’ve got him now!”

Psalms 35:19

Don’t let my treacherous enemies rejoice over my defeat. Don’t let those who hate me without cause gloat over my sorrow.

As we saw in earlier study, they thought it for evil but the Lord had it for good. 

Isaiah 14:27

The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has spoken— who can change his plans? 

When his hand is raised, who can stop him?”

To the religious leadership they thought they had silenced a threat, the one who exposed them for who they were, the didn't know that they were just a tool to bring to pass God's great plan for the salvation of man. 

The powers of darkness thought they had won, the old serpent would have thought, he didn't yield to temptation however His own people I used to bring Him to death (my domain). If only they knew, that they were to loose all their authority. 

1 Corinthians 2:7-9

No, the wisdom we speak of is the mystery of God—his plan that was previously hidden, even though he made it for our ultimate glory before the world began.

But the rulers of this world have not understood it; if they had, they would not have crucified our glorious Lord.

That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, 

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined 

what God has prepared for those who love him.”

Glory to God it is a win-win situation for us who believe. 

1 Peter 1:21

Through Christ you have come to trust in God. And you have placed your faith and hope in God because he raised Christ from the dead and gave him great glory.

So don't be afraid He gave us His Son, what else can't He give us. WE HAVE VICTORY! Halleluyah. 

Romans 8:31-32

What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?

Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?

HELLO BELIEVER BE MORE INTERESTED IN GOD'S AGENDA FOR YOU THAN IN THE ENEMY'S PLOT AGAINST YOU. Selah
