CARRIER OF GRACE

Genesis 19:29
And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.

Did Abraham directly request for Lot's safety? Very likely, though this was not directly recorded. Some versions quoted our lead text as if he did. However we are made to understand that Abraham's grace covered for Lot. For no matter how much grace of another covers you, you yet have your role to play.

We see a narrow escape, however, we cannot deny that Lot needed to walk in obedience. Remember his wife didn't make it.

Truly in old times people carried grace, and their grace rubbed off on others, for the Lord said:

Exodus 33:19b
and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

This is the same grace a spouse can rub off on their partner and thus keep them covered.

Many pursue ministers because of the influence of this grace whether interpreted rightly or wrongly. However one scripture comes to light:

Titus 2:11
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

This is the grace that gives everyone the opportunity to have communion with the Heavenly Father. No one, group or church has the right or power to take that grace from anyone, for God himself is the judge.

IF ONLY WE HAVE A FULL UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT CHRIST JESUS CAME TO DO ON EARTH!

Thus we must understand the role of the Heavenly Father's grace in our lives. Thus the right association can bring us favour, just as the wrong association will do otherwise. Above all our own grace must not be tampered with. For why should I tap from the dripping of another when I can actually be a well.

John 7:38
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

So our gathering should be so full of individual grace such that anyone who comes into our gathering will be "rubbed on" by the grace.

Are you a carrier of grace? How has your grace helped another? Are you merely a pursuer of people who are graced? May God's wisdom lead us for at this time, this generation has very few that carry the out flowing grace, and they are unlikely famous. Selah

2 Corinthians 13:14
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

He calls us blessed.

Love
@the watcher.
