SONG OF FREEDOM (Psalm 137)

Psalm 137:4
How shall we sing the LORD'S song in a strange land?

Liberty, is what everyone in bondage seek for, the whole earth was in bondage till Christ came to set us free.

Luke 4:18
The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

We were given the power to reunite to the Heavenly Father and enjoy true liberty by being sons.

John 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:

Is it not a bigger reason to sing? To bring praises to the one who brought us out of captivity.

Calling us to serve as sons and not as slaves. Glory to God.

Ephesians 4:8
Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

We sing His praises with such a great melody, for He gave us liberty.

Ephesians 5:19
Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Yes, for why should anyone remain in bondage after Christ has set them free.
Sin should not keep us in bondage, neither should unbelieve.
No pastor, pope, imam, prophet, GO, spiritualist, sorcerer, whatever form of priest or any laity should put you in bondage again. Selah!

John 8:36
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

For we were called out of darkness, into a marvelous light. Our duty is to show forth the praises of Him who brought us into this light...

This is why:

 we were chosen,

we are made holy,

we were made royalty.

1 Peter 2:9
But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Not for the praises of any man or prophet dead or alive. Neither any angel or any other being.

Acts 4:10&12
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, [even] by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Romans 8:38&39
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Come out from every form of bondage, be they religions or whatever they are called, let the revelation of the Father, yes His Word, the Son set you free. That you may sing the song of victory.

For all His laws and commands is summed up in this:

1John 3:23
And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

We sing a song of liberty in the Holy Spirit.

Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Let that be in your heart as you fellowship with the brethren. Your service is unto God and not to man. Let every bishop, pastor, teacher, leader, minister or priest emphasize this truth.

For we are chosen to show forth His praise. Glory to God.

Halleluyah.

He calls us blessed.

Love
@the watcher.
