BE READY FOR BATTLE: WATCH & PRAY - WE WIN.
Nehemiah 4:7-9
But when Sanballat and Tobiah and the Arabs, Ammonites, and Ashdodites heard that the work was going ahead and that the gaps in the wall of Jerusalem were being repaired, they were furious.
They all made plans to come and fight against Jerusalem and throw us into confusion.
But we prayed to our God and guarded the city day and night to protect ourselves.
Not everyone faces the exact type of battles, however every believer must face battles.
The scriptures teaches us to be ready. We watch and pray.
Colossians 4:2
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
We may not have to face physical battles as that which Nehemiah was threatened with (some have to), but of spiritual battles, definitely they will arise. However, we are assured that victory is ours.
Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].
For these battles, our weapons are not carnal!
Ephesians 6:10-11,13-18
A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.
Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.
Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness.
For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.
In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.
Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.
Glory to God, our victory is certain. We win.
Nehemiah 4:15
And it came to pass, when our enemies heard that it was known unto us, and God had brought their counsel to nought, that we returned all of us to the wall, every one unto his work.
1 Corinthians 15:57
But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Glory to God.
He calls us blessed.

As God is for us, nobody, no group, no matter the population or size can face us at battle. Glory be to God
