STAY IN CLASS
Matthew 11:29
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
The fact that numbers and letters were taught in the 2nd millennium BCE, where history says they originally originated, does not mean that in the 21st century it becomes irrelevant.
Therefore a child would still need to learn the numbers and alphabets before progressing to learn words, then form sentences and make calculations.
Some new generation christians seem to feel that the process is unnecessary. Some want to jump to teachers, pastors, ministers, elders without passing through the process.
1 Timothy 3:6
Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
Another disaster are those given these positions because of their financial status or donations to church or merely because of their age. This is error.
All the great teachers, pastors and elders we see today are a product of good discipleship. They have gone through the process, they have paid the price of discipline. They stayed in class.
Remember nothing just springs up.
Christ had to go through the process for 30years, to manifest in 3years.
We must not encourage the young to jump at it.
Proverbs 19:2
Also, [that] the soul [be] without knowledge, [it is] not good; and he that hasteth with [his] feet sinneth.
The process to learn and enrich oneself with knowledge is now so easy because of technology. However wisdom and experience must be acquired through discipline.
We thus encourage those who are going through the process. We caution those who seek to bypass the process and we stay in the process.
Do not skip classes!
We are the blessed.
