BOAST IN THE LORD

2 Corinthians 10:18
For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.

There were those times in lower school days when you thought you have done a good job, then the teacher steps in and tells you otherwise.

Many believers fall into this category. One way to easily fall into this err is when we do not stay in God's word, prayers and do not listen to His voice.

Our boast should be in the Lord. Our concern above all else should be what He thinks about us. Can God boast of us?

Psalm 34:2
My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear [thereof], and be glad.

So before we think of any man's approval be in it marriage, work, ministry and others, we seek the approval of the Heavenly Father first.

2 Corinthians 10:12
For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

We ought to glory in the Lord. If the Lord is not pleased with it, it is not worth it.

2 Corinthians 10:17
But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

May we continually please the Lord.

We are blessed.
