THE HOLY SPIRIT (Isaiah 54)

Isaiah 55:1
Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

This is the prophesy of the revelation of the Holy Spirit.

The Spirit cannot be bought but freely released by the Father.

[Act 8:18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,
Act 8:19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.
Act 8:20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.]

Jesus called out:

John 7:37-39
In the last day, that great [day] of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet [given]; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Just like Isaiah prophesied it for the future, same way Jesus did, but this time it was about to be manifested, Christ had to resurrect from the dead.

Halleluyah, He did, and we have the Spirit.

There is need for everyone to come to the Lord to enjoy.

What is the milk and honey = the gifts of the Spirit

1 Corinthians 12:7, 4, 10 & 11
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another [divers] kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

This did not end there, we are then empowered to know the will of the Lord:

Isaiah 55:8 & 9
For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

By the power of the Holy Spirit we know the will of the Lord:

John 14:26
But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

1 Corinthians 2:10
But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Halleluyah!

Then also by the Spirit, the Lord empowers us to activate the word of God to accomplish what God has promised:

Isaiah 55:11
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it.

Mark 11:23
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Glory to God by His Spirit we overcome:

And thus:

Isaiah 55:12
For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap [their] hands.

and:

Isaiah 55:13
Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign [that] shall not be cut off.

Halleluyah!

Romans 8:16
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Ephesians 4:30
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Glory to God for even when we face persecutions, trials or various temptations, we rejoice knowing that:

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.

Glory to God.

So have you received the Spirit? Are you led by the Spirit?

Come to the Lord, let Him quench your thirst. Seek Him now (Isaiah 55:6 -  Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:)

And then out of your belly shall flow, rivers of living water.

We are blessed.

Love
