Spitting in Your Ear

Daniel 3:12
There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Esther 3:8
And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws [are] diverse from all people; neither keep they the king's laws: therefore it [is] not for the king's profit to suffer them.

You knew him/her as a good person. You have observed and proved and all is in line. Then suddenly you begin to have a second look you begin to search for faults, to look out for reasons, things others do and are ok, but to you this person is failing, this person is wrong.

Watch out!

Who has spat in your ear?

Genesis 3:1
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

It was a close and good relationship with God but the serpent spat in Eve's ear.

Proverbs 6:16-19
[16]There are six things the lord hates—  no, seven things he detests:
[17]haughty eyes, a lying tongue,     hands that kill the innocent,
[18]a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong,
[19]a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord in a family.

Many sow discord and their reason is selfish. God hates this!

It may be that:
* they are envious;
* cannot get the attention of that person;
* do not seem to be able to find fault in that person;
* desire to have authority;
* desire your attention;
* or just plain hatred.

No matter what it is, we must not play into the hands of those who "spit in ears" and thus birth discord.

Yes we listen to people, however we need know when discord is being sown, there is this believe that says "man is naturally selfish" and it keeps being proved day after day.

We are of the Spirit, may we not be caught in the "spit in the ear". God's love and wisdom in His Spirit will lead us on.

Pray, keep talking with the Father, intercede for those in trouble. The Lord will heal our land. Evil will be rare.

God bless you.

Love
@ the watcher.
