AS WE WORSHIP HIM
Psalms 100:1-5(NLT)
Shout with joy to the lord, all the earth! Worship the lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy.
Acknowledge that the lord is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.
Jesus said:
Matthew 18:20
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
The gathering of God's people has always been His pleasure, that we come together as brethren to worship and thank Him for who He is and all He has done. No wonder David was called the man after God's heart, he knew what it was to worship, to enter into the gates with thanksgiving.
Jesus also said:
John 4:23-24(NLT)
But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.
For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”
As we gather together with other believers today, may we set aside every doubt, worry or fear. Let us join others in praises and thanksgiving to our God who has always been merciful and good.
Psalms 100:5
For the lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.
Glory to God, I see His word purifying us, empowering us and directing us, I see God's Spirit awakening afresh in us, I see a thankful heart, a joyous spirit. I see praises as healing and blessings flow. Glory to God.
