DREAMS 1
Deuteronomy 13:1
If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
That which leaps you to the next level, that which breeds and stimulates you to move on. That, is the dream(s) , the vision(s) . . . YOUR ABILITY TO SEE WITH YOUR MIND. . .
A lot of things have been taught on dreams and visions from our older brethren to later ministers and more would still come. However what we are interested in today is reviving lost dreams and avoiding swapping of instructions.
Why do dreams die and visions get swapped:
* How people feel about it
Genesis 37:5
And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told [it] his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.
It is our dream it doesn't have to appeal to everyone. Maybe to those who are meant to contribute to its success or those who are to be blessed by it.
* Delays
Joseph had to wait long: from the pit, to slavery, to prison, and yet more delay.
Genesis 40:23
Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.
* Lack of preparation:
They say that success happens when opportunity meets preparation. God displays this to us in the life of many He blessed in scriptures, they went through the process.
Exodus 2:15
Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian: and he sat down by a well.
Many more reasons abound.
As we worship with others today, may the Lord revive us again. I see stirred visions and dreams. I see a new wave of exploits. I see God working through us.
