IN THE MORNING
Psalms 5:3
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct [my prayer] unto thee, and will look up.
It may look orthodox or religious or whatever contemporary name we may give it. However every wise christian begins a day in the place of prayer.
Reading a psalm is a good way to set up your mind. Mature christians know that it helps to clear the mind of all the dirt and troubles of the day before.
Jesus practised this and so did His disciples.
Mark 1:35
And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
This needs no philosophy, no special teaching or special revelation.
Dear brethren, begin your morning in prayer, teach your children so.
This will be a good week for you.
