IN GOD'S HANDS
IN GOD'S HANDS
1Peter 5:7
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
As we begin another week it is apt that we remind ourselves that it is God's grace that keeps us going on, as we go on with our work this week, we believe God's caring hand, as a loving Father that He is, is there to carry us on. Halleluyah.
He promised and His promise will not fail, for those who put their trust in Him are never disappointed.
Psalm 18:30
As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
Two instructions are very important looking at our main text for this morning:
* humility
1Peter 5:6
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
* Be sober, be watchful
1Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Most times we get carried away with pride, carelessness or get drunk with alcohol, emotions or ego then we falter and then wonder what happened. Why did God not help us?
He did but we fought against His help.
That will not be our portion this week as the Lord makes everything fall into place for us.
We will stay submitted to him and be watchful. All will be well.
