GLIMPSE OF ETERNITY(a reminder)

GLIMPSE OF ETERNITY(a reminder)

While we are here on earth we may forget that the time here is limited. We are either overwelmed with the riches and enjoyments we have. The pains and worrys of life and also the bothers of people around us.

The main riches surpasses our time here it is even from these riches that we enjoy on earth.

Romans 9:23
and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory.

The earth is the Lord's and the fullness . . .

Psalm 24:1
The earth is the Lord's, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.

So whether in this world or in the one after riches still belong to God.

Think of it the joy you experience when you are in need and money gets into your hands. It is not really the money but what the money can buy that generates the joy. It can also be the security you feel due to the presence of the money.
Bills can now be paid, food can be bought, you can dress well as so on.

So actually the joy is not just the money but what the money can achieve.

As wise christians we are not to seek for the persishable but for that which is imperishable.

John 6:27
"Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him."

They joy of eternity is filled when we share it here on earth by the love we share with others in an act of giving.

The eternity we look up to begins from here and even the promises of Jesus for following him includes blessings here

Matthew 19:29
"And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit everlasting  life

As  we go through the year let us share eternity by reaching out to those around us not expecting anything in return. I mean those in need.

YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE SOMETHING TO GIVE!

No child of God is a begger.

Psalm 37:25
I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.

Don't place yourself at the begging end, be the giver. Show forth the splendor of God's eternity.

You will bless someone today.

Have a wonderful week.

Love.
