MESSAGE TO THE RELIGIOUS

Acts 13:40-41

Be careful! Don’t let the prophets’ words apply to you. For they said,

‘Look, you mockers, be amazed and die! 

For I am doing something in your own day, something you wouldn’t believe even if someone told you about it.’”


One of the most difficult sects to bring to salvation are those who believe they already know - the religious. At the time of the apostles, these were mostly Jews. Even Christ when He walked on earth found them to be rebellious, for most of them resisted Him.


Well the truth is that religion as I always say is man-made and you become so engrossed in it that you no longer see the Creator and His plan and will have a sort of self righteousness and earthly relevance that keeps you busy on things that have no eternal gain.


Now hold on, we have the same err today. Please listen carefully:


When you no longer see the Heavenly Father neither His Son, Yeshua Hamaschiach, Jesus the Christ who is the Living Word, then know that you are on the wrong path. I don't care whether who you see is a spiritual leader with whatever designation they are called, you have missed it.


These is what Christ was explaining to the Samaritan woman, Oh I want to go to this spiritual sight be it Israel, Mecca, Ori-Oke whatever the place or person or building is, you surely have missed it.


John 4:21,23-26

Jesus replied, “Believe me, dear woman, the time is coming when it will no longer matter whether you worship the Father on this mountain or in Jerusalem.

But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.

For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”

The woman said, “I know the Messiah is coming—the one who is called Christ. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”

Then Jesus told her, “I am the Messiah!”


For at the revelation of the Messiah all things centered on Him.


Colossians 2:9,16-19

For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body.

So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths.

For these rules are only shadows of the reality yet to come. And Christ himself is that reality.

Don’t let anyone condemn you by insisting on pious self-denial or the worship of angels, saying they have had visions about these things. Their sinful minds have made them proud,

and they are not connected to Christ, the head of the body. For he holds the whole body together with its joints and ligaments, and it grows as God nourishes it.


Most people who try to discredit Christ do what is called cherry picking, the take verses out of context and replace names to try to convince you of whatever it is they have to tell you.


The truth remains the truth, religion remains man-made until You meet the Word, who is the Son, who is Christ Jesus.


It got to the time that they wanted to make so much about the Sabbath, the Lord replied:


Matthew 12:8 

For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.


Everything revolves around Christ, even today some religions try to prove their relevance referencing Christ. Selah!


Why stay around the truth, why go round in circles - when:


Colossians 3:11

In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.


Glory to God.


He calls us blessed.

NEVER TAKE REVENGE!

Romans 12:19 Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, “I will take revenge;I will pay them back,” says the lord. Offences would surely come as we continue our journey here on earth. One thing we must learn to do is never to act when we are angry. Almost one hundred percent of the time, if we reflect on it, we find that we regret our actions. It is not that we do not get angry, the bible teaches that even when we do, it should not lead us to sin. Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: If an enemy hurts us, well what do we expect from an enemy. However betrayal is when a friend intentionally hurts us. Check it! What makes us think it is intentional? So better to talk about it than be silent!
