DON'T REJECT THE TRUE MESSAGE

Hebrews 2:3-4

So what makes us think we can escape if we ignore this great salvation that was first announced by the Lord Jesus himself and then delivered to us by those who heard him speak?

And God confirmed the message by giving signs and wonders and various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit whenever he chose.

We live in times when many false prophets and teachers have been revealed. A lot of twisting have been done to the original teachings and message of Christ. It did not just begin today it started even in the time of Christ and the apostles. 

From the bribery of the Roman soldiers to coverup the truth about the resurrection to those who wanted to push judaism, then those who claimed Christ had already returned. Some even claimed that Christ never died. The list goes on and on. 

We must understand that there is counterfeit only because there is an origin. 

Our opening verses in Hebrew chapter two tells us:

Hebrews 2:1-2

So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.

For the message God delivered through angels has always stood firm, and every violation of the law and every act of disobedience was punished.

Just as we also saw in chapter one, the messages came to us through angels, then related to the people through prophets

Hebrews 1:1-2

Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets.

And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe.

Immediately Christ came, there ended the revelation by prophets any one prophesying must be prophesying of Jesus the Christ else whatever they are saying is not from God. 

Matthew 11:13,15

For before John came, all the prophets and the law of Moses looked forward to this present time.

Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!

The message is Christ Jesus and nothing else! 

So the scriptures is saying that those who neglected or disobeyed the instructions from angels were punished accordingly. More so it will be disastrous to those who reject Christ Jesus. 

John 3:18-19

“There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.

And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil.

No matter the religion one practices, they are architect by man, true salvation comes only from Christ Jesus. 

John 14:6,14

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!

See, NO, one is given the authority to mix any other thing, or person, or any other means of salvation. NO ONE. No matter what they call themselves, or claim to be. Not even angels, saints, dead or living! 

Acts 4:11-12

For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, 

‘The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.’

There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”

No one should reject or play aroun d with so great a salvation. If the Heavenly Father could sacrifice His own Son just for the love He has for us, what reasonable excuse can we give to Him not to receive this salvation and remain faithful?

What excuse do we have to give NOT to bear good fruits?

Many would say, especially some sects I have personally met during evangelism, that this account of scriptures did this or that. Some would say the gospels were written after the death of most of the apostles, and this or that. 

Many have even said they do not believe the scriptures. 

The question, what do you have to lose? To play around the danger of loosing or missing salvation and thus risk damnation in hell or the lake of fire OR the risk of seeming foolish to be guided on a right and true path? The risk is too enormous. You have nothing to loose in Christ but the vanity of this world. 

Hello, in Christ we have true riches here on earth and also for eternity. 

John 14:2-3

There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?

When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.

Some people would say, He has tarried too long: HELLO, 

2 Peter 3:8-10

But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day.

The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.

But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment.

In our lifetime or after, it will surely happen. 

We must not reject the true message. It is not found in a denomination, it is found in the scriptures and the letters of the apostles. The Holy Spirit gives us understanding even as we study, worship and pray to the Father. (Don't be deceived) 

It will be a wonderful year. 

He calls us blessed.
