A MORNING CHARGE

Proverbs 3:5 (BBE) Put all your hope in God, not looking to your reason for support. When the storms come rushing, know that He is there for you, don't give up, the victory isn't far. That storm will be a story for you tomorrow. Know that there are two things: it either works out how you want, or how you don't want it, but in all . . . we are more than conquerors. Luke 12:22 And he said to his disciples, For this reason I say to you, Take no thought for your life, about what food you will take, or for your body, how it may be clothed. Life and its irony. You search for it so much and get frustrated when it doesn't come. Then it comes! You wonder why you troubled yourself so much for it. Most times when you search too hard for it you don't get it. It may always have been there! Mark 11:24 For this reason I say to you, Whatever you make a request for in prayer, have faith that it has been given to you, and you will have it. Don't let the pressures take you out, it...

BE REMINDED - WORKING BEHIND THE SCENE

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose. God is working His purpose out As year succeeds to year; God is working his purpose out, And the time is drawing near; Nearer and nearer draws the time, The time that shall surely be, When the earth shall be filled With the glory of God As the waters cover the sea. This is the first verse of a great hymn I love so much, written by  Arthur C. Ainger, 1894 and composed into music by  Martin F. Shaw, 1915. God is always there even when all seems quiet. Yes, He sees and works with the greater picture, but hello, that picture includes you, His child. The same way you boot your computer, behind the blank screen billions of processes are taking place , it continues till you see the welcome screen and you can finally log in and start your operations. The same way God is always working all things out, when you look with your physical...

WE REJOICE CAUSE HE IS IN CONTROL

Psalms 13:5 But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. It is another opportunity to thank God as we enter this new month. Think back on all that has happened through the months of this year and give Him thanks. It doesn't always have to be about what we are yet to receive, let us thank Him for what we have already received. Lamentations 3:22 (KJV) [It is of] the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. We must remember that He is the one in control of all things, He is the Heavenly Father: Psalms 145:15 The eyes of all look to you in hope; you give them their food as they need it. Forget those who boast and try to oppress others, they live in a mirage, others before them have passed away, so also will they. So, we keep our mind on the One who is in control of all things, whom the powers that be, bow to. The year will end well for us, every difficulty will pass, victory is sure and peace will remain. So keep ...

THERE IS AN END

1 Corinthians 10:31 So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 2Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of [this] tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. We find that most people who decide to live the wrong way and do evil, encourage themselves by trying to push away the truth that there would be an end. It is not as if they do not know this, but they decide to put it aside. Luke 12:19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, [and] be merry. 2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body. No wonder we have wicked leaders who have no love for the country they represent, neither love for the people that they ought to lead. *YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS LEADING THOSE YOU DO NOT LOVE! We have peopl...

STRATEGIZING

Philippians 2:13 For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. As humans we have this enclosure or limitation of time, that is, we feel that this is the time for this or that, or that we should leave this for this or that time. Truly there are times/seasons for certain events, however we must remember that our Heavenly Father cannot be straight jacketed into times and seasons. This is why Daniel wrote: Daniel 2:21a (KJV) And he changeth the times and the seasons:  We remember what we requested for, from our lecturers before the examinations begin. We ask for the areas of concentration. Rightfully because we serve the God who knows the end before the beginning, He is able to take us ahead. There is nothing as satisfying as being pre-informed. The prophets of old had that privilege and we the later "prophetic" can enjoy even a greater revelation: * That idea that would take your business to the next level in the coming year; * That cours...

WHY I PRAISE(a reminder)

Psalms 26:7 That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works. Psalms 30:11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; She was born into royalty, her father was the king. She did not know what it meant to look for food to eat, to be rejected as a bastard child by one's father and be left to cater for sheep. He was not even called when the other son's were called for one of them to be anointed.  Spear was thrown at him, by the one he came to bring healing to. He had to face a lion and a bear, yet the Lord gave him victory. He had to face one of the greatest giants who ever lived, Goliath and the Lord gave him victory. He had to hide in caves to run away from a king who wanted his head. This is the story of Michal and David. She did not know why he, who was now king, danced and gave thanksgiving to God in such vile a way in front of all his subjects. She had no idea what he had...

THE ONLY WAY

1 Timothy 2:5 For,There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture Many have tried to take over the hearts of men. Wise books, wise sayings, nice quotes, impressive philosophies even by fears, wars and intimidations. Yet man is not limited by his intellect or feeling but an inner conviction that tells you "I am more than this". More than the social animal that all these philosophies, intimidations, fear, science or religions would want to reduce us to. If one believes there is God and desire to end on the good side of eternity, one needs to know what is at stake. The parable Jesus gave of the rich man and Lazarus illustrates to us the circumstance that would ensue after we leave this earth. Many things we worry about, wouldn't bother us anymore. That which we may not have considered to be important, then becomes the onl...
