RUN BACK TO GOD

Psalm 51:4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done [this] evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, [and] be clear when thou judgest. Psalm 41:4 I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee. David a man after God's heart allowed himself to fall into temptation and he sinned and then sinned again. The punishment did come and they were grave. The issue was he ran back to God. It was like: "no matter what it is I stay with God". 2Samuel 24:14 And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies [are] great: and let me not fall into the hand of man. John in the book 1st John teaches that we cannot sin, that since we are born of God we are not bound by sin anymore. Sin is of the devil. However if we do sin: 1John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, J...

I NEED HELP

Psalm 121:1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. Help is what everyone would need time and again. No one can tell a complete story of their success without naming people who had helped them along the way. As believers, one time we need help is when we err or go into an eclipse. Remember no believer should think that we may not face this kind of challenge because we do have an enemy. Luke 22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired [to have] you, that he may sift [you] as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. Yes we could say he was not filled with the spirit then, but when we go through the later scriptures we see temptation on the disciples after the outpouring of the Spirit. Help is needed! Matthew 4:1 & 11 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came...

WHAT DO YOU KNOW?

2Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. We live in an age where people are seeking more for manifestation than the truth of the word. Many do not seek to know but just to enjoy a brief manifestation, a glimpse of a miracle, a little glory. Wait! it is more than that. You need to know, to understand by learning, studying and listening to the things of the Spirit. That is when it stays and remains. Let us look at Jesus our example. Luke 2:46 Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions Luke 4:20 Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him Jesus was known from childhood as a person of the scriptures. No wonder He could handle the anointing, be it by auction or by faith. Selah. So t...

THAT LITTLE GOOD

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things. There is a need to remind ourselves not to neglect the little things that make up the whole. We must understand that the things that matter in this life are a collection of little things we do that really do matter. Just like little bricks that come together to form the whole building, if each is chipped off one at a time, the dilapidation of the building is imminent. A great rock can be brought down by continually chopping off small pieces. The same way a marriage can be destroyed by pieces of unfaithfulness, disrespect or even lack of communication. It accumulates over time, then one might think it just suddenly happened, NO, it doesn't work that way. So, Let us NOT drop those "little thi...

SOAR LIKE THE EAGLE

Isaiah  40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint. The analogy of the eagle was a very good example used in this scripture to give an illustration of the benefits of being a believer. We live in a world where there are people who fall into two extremes: * Those who have completely given up on the believe in God and see it as laughable  * Those who claim so much about God but their lifestyle is a complete opposite of what they believe, most of them will willingly defraud another with no remorse. However, the truth remains that God is and He is still the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. So the promise of the eagle soar is for the faithful ones. Some would say: ...

THE CHRISTIAN

Psalms 15:1-5 Who may worship in your sanctuary, Lord? Who may enter your presence on your holy hill? Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts. Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends. Those who despise flagrant sinners, and honor the faithful followers of the Lord, and keep their promises even when it hurts. Those who lend money without charging interest, and who cannot be bribed to lie about the innocent. Such people will stand firm forever. David was one of those people that were privileged to sit in the office of a prophet. He also testified of the revelation of Yeshua, Jesus the Christ. He received revelation of what should be the character of the believer: As simple as this description may be, many of us still fall short of these good characters. Why? James 1:14-16 Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when...
