FAITH

FAITH Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Our faith in God is definitely not limited by our feelings or our emotions. We cannot trust our feelings and emotions, they fluctuate day after day Explaining God intellectually is actuality a futility. He is Spirit and can not be limited by the five senses. That's why the law was actually a bondage. It is not wisdom trying to live to please a Spirit based on our senses. It has to be by faith. Salvation itself is a product of faith. Romans 10:10  For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. It could never be by works, your faith will produce works. Because anything done out of faith is sin. Romans 14:23  But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin. Mark 2:5

WHAT IS YOUR DENOMINATION OF HELP?

WHAT IS YOUR DENOMINATION OF HELP? When Hannah received her breakthrough she prophesied giving God glory! 1Samuel 2:8 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the beggar from the ash heap, To set them among princes and make them inherit the throne of glory. "For the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and He has set the world upon them. You get to pick your place time and again. This dosen't have to be to what degree, no, that is God's disposition. Yet you must decide if you are the . . . * giver or begger * good example or the bad influence * teacher or one needing correction * one showing love or the one demanding * the one sick or the one needing healing * the one offending or the one offended * saved or needing to be saved * knowing or being ignorant It seems to us as though those who have more should give more to those who have less or do not have at all. If this was so it is unlikely that we find anyone lacking. As a believer we have the

YES FREE

YES FREE! John 8:36  "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. Truely Jesus was, is and will be the only one who can make this claim. No other person has the power to give this liberty no matter how wise their teaching or power their influence or how dynamic people claim their life was. Yet only one came from the Father to fulfil the Father's wish and returned to the Father after making us, who believe, sons also. John 13:3 Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God, John 3:13  "No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. Man was born into the bondage of sin, which originally seperates the man (the spirit of man) from his maker. The mentality of slavery keeps one in bondage and makes him/her think that there is something needed to be done to find favour in the eyes of the master. So one in bondage

INFLUENCE

INFLUENCE Proverbs 15:23  A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, and a word spoken in due season, how good it is! Everyone has a circle of influence, people who are affected by what you say or do. It could be large or small no matter the size it remains our sphere of influence and God expects us to affect the circle positively. You are there to influence positively. If *  the souls of these ones are important to you, you will lead them to Jesus the Christ. *  their mind is important you will feed them with the word of God and Godly counsel. * their future is important to you, you will always tell them the truth and gear them to accomplish more. * their needs and welfare is important, you will reach out to them no matter how little you can give. * you love them, you will pray for them. Philippians 2:4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. The right question to ask is WHEN MY TIME IS OVER, WHAT WILL I

BEGIN TODAY

BEGIN TODAY Many a great thing we could achieve, many accomplishment we miss because we feel it is late. Do you know that your greatness is tied to tough decisions you have to make. Proverbs 16:9  A man's heart plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps. The idea, that great revelation came to you because you have a part to play, to bring it to pass. Dan 2:22 He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what [is] in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.  The first thing is to discover your pathway with God then you allow the Holy Spirit lead you all the way but also remember that you can BEGIN TODAY! The road to success is not a smooth highway we must learn when to slow down, speed up and even when to park and rest awhile, but in all we must keep progressing. Having the destinations in mind. I see the next half of this year accomplished for us. We will take advantage of the revelation and of those ideas. We will accomplish more. God bles

STAY AFLOAT

STAY AFLOAT (a reminder) Matthew 14:31  And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?" The world and all its issues are like a big sea which each of have to walk on. Every step we take leads us forward progressively to fulfil our goals, to accomplish our purpose. I saw this definition of afloat in the dictionary. Definition: Afloat making successful progress under one's own steam. For us to stay afloat, we need to do these * stay light: get rid of all unnecessary burden of sin, guilt, hate, tribalism, religions, worry and so on. Romans 13:12 - 14 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.  Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in licentiousness and lewdness, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to f

NOT YOU ALONE

NOT YOU ALONE Luke 6:31  "And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise. It is not just about "me", we also have to consider others. One can easily become conscious only of one's affairs while forgetting about others. While we drive, walk or in that commercial or rented vehicle we could decide to consider just ourself. It could even be as bad as being inconsiderate of our spouse or even our children. We could even unconsciously be inconsiderate of our parents. What of our boss at work, do we consider them. Our subordinates or employees don't they matter?  . . .We cannot afford to get carried away with * how it will please me * how it will satisfy me * how it will annoy me * how much I will gain * how to deal with him or her * how I am not appreciated * how I was not given what is mine * how it is not enough for me  on and on. Have we thought vice-versa. What of the other person(s). Yes we love ourself, that

Aligned Thoughts

Aligned Thoughts Truely it is difficult for two to walk together without agreeing. Amos 3:3 can two walk together, unless they are agreed? This prophesy came to Amos when the Lord was angry with Isreal He reminded them of his delivering them from Egypt and further taken them as His family yet they decided to walk in their own way in variance with God's will for them. The Lord also called us as family in the new Isreal, a reaching to the whole world. Titus 2:11  For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, John 1:12  But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name: Hebrews 2:11 For he who makes holy and those who are made holy are all of one family; and for this reason it is no shame for him to give them the name of brothers, When we meditate on the way the children of Isreal messed up in their relationship with God, we marvel at how great their unbelieve was. Upon all

CAN I DEPOSIT IN YOU? ( a reminder)

CAN I DEPOSIT IN YOU? ( a reminder) A story is told of a man who invested in a bank the first year, he lost almost all of his investment, the bank asked for more the next year, he re-invested and still again he neither regained his investment nor made any profit. Should he re-invest the next year? John 15:2  "Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Every one's work will be tested to determine its value 1Corinthians 3:13 each one's work will become manifest; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. Are we too busy taking account of what we have not received, the things we want God to do for us?  Yes He will do them, He loves us asking Him. John 16:24  "Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. However, have we take

BE LED BY THE SPIRIT

BE LED BY THE SPIRIT Isaiah 59:21 "As for Me," says the LORD, "this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants," says the LORD, "from this time and forevermore." Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. We know that the only way to be God's child is our believing in His Son and accepting Him as our Lord and Saviour then He now lives in us by the Holy Spirit. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name: Revelation 3:20  "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine

LIVING WITH A LIAR

LIVING WITH A LIAR John 8:44  "You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. Here Jesus was talking to the Jews who worshipped God for personal gain, those of them who were hypocrites. Funny enough the devil or satan lives here on earth. He comes on, and again, sending his little demons to wisper rubbish to our ears. His tactis still remains the same just the way he toiled with Eve in the Garden of Eden. If only we could see those ugly things wispering those lies in our ears. How do we overcome Revelations 12:11  "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Not by shouting the blood but standing on what the blood has done. The word of our t

DETOXIFY YOUR MIND

DETOXIFY YOUR MIND Where the battle begins and where it ends . . . the mind Proverbs 4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. We know we live in a world where we do not have total control over all that happens. Information is communicated to us through many sources consciously or unconsciously through * tele media * social media * radio * paper media * friends * colleagues * family * employer/employee * government and their officials * people we come in contact with casually * religious leaders * lecturers/teachers/facilitators all these sources all seek to feed our mind one way or the other and if they persist enough they reach our soul. There is therefore need time and again to "purge" The same way we gather up a lot of unwanted substances in our feeding toxic in different degrees. We need to keep detoxifying our system now and again to save us from the negative effects of those unwanted substances. The mi

SILENCE(pain or gain)

SILENCE(pain or gain) 1John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. Silence could connote a lot of things. * one wanting to be left alone * anger * pain * thinking * one in trouble * not having much to say * unhappiness * stress * a hidden ailment or disease or even * fear. * could also be time to reflect and to make amends * or maybe a time out to meditate There is need for us to understand the reason behind any silence, cause though nothing might be wrong, a lot could also be wrong. Those we call our loved ones should always be on our mind that we may know when something is wrong. 1Corinthians 12:25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. One painful silence anyone could experience is when it seems God is not speaking. Nothing is as painful as not knowing what God expects from us. One thing is true God has given us me

PEACE

PEACE Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed [on thee]: because he trusteth in thee. Only God can give perfect peace. 2Thessalonians 1:2  Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul kept repeating this statement in all his letters why? John 14:27  "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. When Jesus was leaving the earth he left us with peace. Troubles may arise, temptation may keep coming things might look tough but the child of God will have God's peace which passes all understanding and which can calm every storm. Mark 4:39  Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. His peace resides in us in the presence of the Holy Spirit. That is what the kingdom of God is about Romans 14:17  for the k

WE MUST WORK!

WE MUST WORK! Psalms 90:17 And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands. After creating the heavens and the earth for six days(whether literal or otherwise) on the 7th Day God rested. After God rested on the 7th day, what did He do on the 8th day. The answer to this question is obvious, He resumed work again. Jesus confirmed this when He said ...my Father works so I work . .. John 5:17  But Jesus answered them, "My Father has been working until now, and I have been working." Idleness, laziness and mediocity are not the character of our Father, if you have these characters then you need to explain where you got them from but definitely not from God. God has already set things in motion which you activate when you work in knowledge and wisdom. The greatest of all was redemption which He had already done from the foundation of the world. 1Peter 1:20  He indeed was foreor

APPRECIATION ( a reminder)

APPRECIATION ( a reminder) 1John 4 : 7 - 9 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. At what gesture do we need to show appreciation. Your ability to show appreciation is a measure of the love inside of you. Every form of appreciation encourages the doer to do more good. Somethings we do take the following for granted: A. The ones who regularly calls or checks up on us. B. The ones who always has a good advice for us. C. The ones who gives us things even as little as recharge cards or pay our transport fares or gives you a ride. D. The ones who corrects our mistakes. E. The ones who share the word of God with us. F. The ones who makes our worship comfortable as a worker in church. E. The ones who work u

WHOSE MEASURING SCALE?

WHOSE MEASURING SCALE Philippians 2:5  Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, With what scale do we measure? * the world * our flesh * God * or man The battle has always been for "our soul" that is the real us . . . All becomes struggle and chasing after wind when our measuring scale is the flesh. Let us say like Paul: Galatians 1:10  For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a servant of Christ. 1Corinthians 3:21 Therefore let no one glory in men. For all things are yours: How do we know whom we please, by the thoughts that we allow to stay. The one whom we consider first, before we take a decision. Is it? * What will people say about this? * How will I feel about this? * What does God want me to do? The truth is God's own is always the best. He knows all things, he has seen further than we can ever see and already knows the outcome. Revelation 1:8  "I

CRYING IN YOUR COMFORT ZONE

CRYING IN YOUR COMFORT ZONE Jonah 4:9-11  Then God said to Jonah, "Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?" And he said, "It is right for me to be angry, even to death!"  But the LORD said, "You have had pity on the plant for which you have not labored, nor made it grow, which came up in a night and perished in a night.  "And should I not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left, and also much livestock?" The story of Jonah is that of a prophet who was sent by God to warn Nineveh of impending destruction if they did not repent. Jonah after trying to run was diverted back to the city. He declared of the impending destruction. The city repented and God therefore did not destroy them. This caused Jonah to be annoyed. God needed to show him, to teach him. He made a plant grow over his head, then when he began to enjoy it, He ca

THE POOR

THE POOR When Jesus was teaching on the beatitudes(utmost bliss and happiness) he started with Matthew 5:2-3  Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying: "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Poor in this passage was referring to humility, willingness to submit, not holding on to one self . . . Literally being poor is a condition of "not having" , it is deficiency. One can be poor of material things like money, possessions or wealth. And one thing is certain we will always have people in that situation. Matthew 26:11  "For you have the poor with you always, but Me you do not have always. Knowing that there would be people in need at all times should make us responsible with what we have, we have a duty to ensure that we do not waste whatever it is we have, knowing that someone may be in need it of it. You may say you are not poor, but at a point in time you may be in the position where you need help for one t

AT THE OTHER END

AT THE OTHER END Relationships are generally a two way communication. From one end to the other. Effective communication is achieved when the communication flows through and from both ends. The bible says: Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. It goes wrong when only one end is doing the work. When only a party is keeping the relationship alife it wears down that soul and as times goes on the relationship crumbles. Amos 3:3  can two walk together, unless they are agreed? The same applies in every form of relationship * man and wife * parents and children * employer and employee * leader and follower * teacher and student * boss and subordinate Relationships could be voluntary or involuntary Because you have the freedom to choose some while others is choosen for you. An example is the parents that give birth to you. Another is the country you are born in. Others include the people who become your colleagues at

GET EXCITED

GET EXCITED! Psalms 40:5 Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works Which You have done; And Your thoughts which are toward us Cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered. Why, what am I to be excited about? What the Lord did for us, for you! The one thing that seperated man from God was "sin". Genesis 2:17 "but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." But . . . there is a change, we have been set free . . . Luke 4:18  "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, 1John 1:9  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

YES, YOU HAVE A "HAVEN"

YES, YOU HAVE A "HAVEN" A haven is a place of safety; a refuge or sanctuary. Psalm 91:1-2  He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust." We live in the world where there are temptations and trials, where things do not happen exactly as we wish it to be. It is a physical world yet controlled by spiritual occurrences and powers. To make it in this world you cannot depend on your physical senses, feelings, emotions or strength. You must reach out into your spirit. No wonder many seek divers sorcerers and spiritualist to assist them. But you who has seen the light knows that . . . Acts 4:12  "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." When you are in Christ every power and authority is under you because Yeshua "Jesus the C

THE FALSE ONES

THE FALSE ONES Romans 2:16  in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel. It is necessary to understand that "all" will face judgement . . . those who live right though, who stay with love and obey God having no pact or agreement with the enemy will escape judgement. 1John 4:17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. I categorize present day prophets/teachers/pastors in these groups 1. Those who were never called by God but desire to "be" for their own personal gain or ego. Philippians 3:19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame--who set their mind on earthly things. Jude 1:16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. Rom 16:18 For those who are such do not se

IT IS ALL ABOUT HIM

IT IS ALL ABOUT HIM Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, "I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. Whether trying to explain * why He does or does not exist * how we are to follow Him * who He sent or did not send * why He allows or do not allow evil * if there is a hell or a heaven * whether He has a Son or not * if angels have wings or not * how He created Heaven and Earth * good or evil * what happens after we die It circles around God. It may seem indeed strange why anyone would not believe in God. Really, instead give glory to God that you are privileged to believe. It may also seem strange not to believe in His salvation plan. How can God have a Son, how can He allow His Son to die? Indeed for mere man. Really, instead give glory to God that you are privileged to believe. For in d

TRUE WORSHIP

TRUE WORSHIP John 4:23  "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. John 1:18  No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. Man fell because of the seed of sin and therefore could not have fellowship with God as he ought to. We therefore had a sentence of death. Genesis 2:17  "but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." So through one man all became sinners Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, And therefore through one man all returns to God in righteousness Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. 2Corinthians 5:17  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed awa

GOD IS IN CONTROL

GOD IS IN CONTROL 1Colossians 1:9  God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. There are times it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out. These times do come, yet it would not change who God is, what God has done and what He has said. Let us be reminded that . . . His promises is still yes and amen. 2Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.  Please don't give up God is still in control. We began with faith and we will continue in faith. Hebrews 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. We must go above how we feel, and see beyond what it seems, let us remember what He Has promised and believe that He who promised is sure to keep His Word. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the

IT IS STILL UP TO YOU

IT IS STILL UP TO YOU In this life it is true that everyone needs a leader, one who he or she accounts to, one to look up to for direction, correction and even mentorship. Be it in business, career, job, spiritual inclination or family. That is why we have pastors, mentors and advisers. 1Thessalonians 5:12  And we urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, Hebrews 13:17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. It is quite easy for us to think then that because they stand in for us and account for us, we will not account for ourselves. Romans 14:12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God. No matter the pastors, priests, leaders or teachers we heap on ourselves. We need to be reminded that . . . we do not have an advocte in a human

ECLIPSE

ECLIPSE An eclipse occurs when there is an obstruction to the full reflection of the sun (in summary). In life we have times of eclipse it is expected, though sometimes it comes and our reaction escalates it beyond its real magnitude. James 1:12  Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been proved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Do you feel the Lord has abandoned you? Do you feel unholy, unworthy that you have not lived up to God's standard this past months? Are there goals you have set, plans you have made and all seems to have failed? Are there requests you have been making to God these past years and it seems God is silent about them. Do you look at your mates, collegues or counterparts and then look at yourself and see that you have failed? Are you still looking for a spouse or seeking for children and yet another year has passed with no results? Are you without a job or still earning
